Great and relaxing time with a very knowledgeable host!

Spent a beautiful week in BallyV House and was sorry to leave. Patrick had gone to great effort to provide every comfort and making our stay as pleasant as possible. The kids loved the 55 inch TV and the great outdoors too, (to our surprise!). The mixed-fuel stove in the living room is very homely and there was plenty of fuel supplied. I was impressed with the eclectic mix of fiction and non-fiction books in the library and spent many happy hours in the reclining armchair next to the books. Patrick is an exceptional host, and tour-guide, who has spent years gathering the best and most helpful information to make your stay in North Clare outstanding. Patrick always knows where the best live music is. Stay here! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent stay

Had a great stay. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Beautiful view from the dining area. Good travel tips from host. Very good base for visiting the Cliffs of Mother and the Burren. Will be back for another stay soon.

Beautiful views

The house is in a beautiful area with gorgeous views and a short walk to the local village with pubs and restaurants. The host, Helen, is so nice and makes you feel right at home - really informative making sure you get the best out of your stay and money. We recommend McDermotts pub in the village for food.

Ballyvoe House was the perfect accommodation, conveniently located, and Helen couldn't have been kinder or more welcomin

Ballyvoe House far exceeded our expectations. The property was in a beautiful position, with fantastic views looking out onto the Aran Islands. The accommodation was spotless and catered for all our needs. Helen, our host, was the most welcoming of people and couldn't have been kinder, more helpful, and actually a super cook. Best breakfast ever but we were treated to home made scones, cake and tea as well. Over and above. We had gone down to the local pub and Helen very kindly gave us a lift and even though we had insisted we walk back later that evening, the weather changed and Helen phoned the pub to get a message across to us that she would happily come down to pick us up when we were ready. Five stars is not enough. Highly recommended. Thanks Helen for everything. John, Alison, Louise and Tom

BEST VIEWS OF CLIFF'S OF MOHER AND ARAN ISLANDS

I loved all the information she gave regarding visiting both the cliff and the island. I'm not sure if she does this for every guest but she baked the best scones. She is amazing, runs a super clean B and B. She is down the street from some pubs, and provides you a flash light and safety jackets in case you walk back in the dark ( She really loves her customers). Please call her ahead of time she has a lot of insight on traffic, short cuts, what to see and when.
The B and B is quiet, you have no other neighbors next to you have nothing to block the views. She has a great sitting and dining area that lets you take it all in. I would definitely come back !
