Pleasant stay

Great stop to visit the Golden Circle, well heated bungalow, there is the necessary for cooking, friendly staff, parking available, located in a beautiful town, with all the necessary facilities

STAY AWAY!! Filthy. No respect for the tourist.

The trash cans had been overflowing for at least 1 week, the floor of the showers, separated by super filthy curtains, was so dirty, muddy, and filled with hair and other filth that I preferred...not to go there. The 2 people at the front desk completely don't care about my comments regarding the filth of their camp. They have no respect for the tourist.

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin with Jaccuzzi and everything was perfect! Quiet among the trees, while being close to the shops of Selfoss. Ideally located to visit the South and the Golden Circle.
Incredibly kind staff!

Good for a quick night stay, friendly service

We stayed here for one night and found to be comfortable enough. Located in centre of Selfoss only minutes away from the local shops and 15 minutes drive from Kerid crater.
It’s on the camping ground offering something for all. For the price you pay can’t really complaint about the place. The staff is very polite and friendly, ample parking, cottages are big enough for a quick stay during a road trip.
When we entered the cottage we had a stale smell which eventually went away once we settled in or we got used to it. It is maintained to a good standard but could do with a bit of maintenance on door and windows. Has basic amenities for a self catering stay. We opted for the one with shower, clean with toiletries and fresh towels provided.
Every time we ran the water the sink and the drains would stink, may be could be improved.
Overall a good and comfortable stay.

Rustic lodging in campground

This guesthouse is rustic cabins in a campground. The owners are pleasant and accommodating. The cabins have a small kitchen area with cooktop and mini fridge plus table and chairs. The bathroom is an adequate size with a shower. The cabin is very warm and has a little porch. There is also a hot tub on premises. The thing we didn’t like here is that the double bed was in an alcove and you had to climb over your partner to get in and out of bed and go to the bathroom. We didn’t get a restful night’s sleep because we do need to go to the bathroom during the night so we were exhausted. The location is in a quiet side street not far from the city center and they offer a breakfast buffet. We didn't know it was a campground when we booked it or else we would have stayed elsewhere.
