Overpriced
Beautiful place and the staff were very friendly and helpful but for my personal experience it was one of the most overpriced restaurants I’ve been to.

TRAVELERS BEWARE!
We had an unfortunate circumstance that prevented us from traveling to our destination in Albania. Every other hotel we booked in Albania was very understanding and cancelled the reservations and refunded our money. Zoe Hora was not willing to offer the same leniency. I understand many of the negative comments now and will refrain from booking with them when we reschedule our trip for next year. They are not in the industry of hospitality, and I am very disappointed in the outcome of my conversation with them. If they were more flexible with us, we would have been happy to rebook with them, but I will be seeking other alternatives for our trip next year.

High hopes sadly disappointed.
Concept is super cool but execution is terrible
Arrival- certainly is not friendly or welcoming . We were a group travelling together and across most of the rooms there were issues. And talking to other guests these seemed a common problem.
Service was terrible, I have more help and responses from Airbnb hosts than from this hotel. Mohamed was the exception and he was the most helpful staff member.
Many of their “experiences” for guests that are visiting are not available.
The hotel is isolated and they do have such things as laundry or a plan to help guests move around the area.
Really if you come here plan to be self sufficient.
There are over 35 rooms with about 12 sun-beds, so the maths there is about 6 rooms are getting sun-beds.
Their priority is dinning, you get kicked out of the pool at 5pm sharp to set up for a 7pm setting. Yet when we needed breakfast to start at 8am (as it is the advertised start time) because we had an early departure this was a mere suggestion.
There are some lovely features like the unique design of the rooms to botanical tea supplied in the room. The traditional restaurant was worth a visit.
I really hope they get there but at this stage just visit for a drink or meal that seems to be their focus.

Beautiful setting but major disappointment
I booked 3 x rooms with close friends from Australia. The location and setting is very beautiful but unfortunately the service didn’t live up to expectations. There are multiples areas for improvement including:
- overall service was poor, with the exception of Muhammad who helped with luggage etc.he was proactive and genuinely contrasted in helping. He was the rarity. By contrast wait staff were disinterested and lacked proactive service standards you’d expect at hotel like this.
- no casual eating area during the day, eg pool side meals, only fine dining option
- as guests we were asked to vacate the pool area by 5pm each day to allow them time to set up for dinner. It seems mgt are more interested in servicing their external dinner guests rather than guests staying in the hotel.
- no ability to charge back drinks to your room, have to settle each transaction which is unusual
- no excursions available that were on their website
- no laundry options
- no shuttle to main beach area. This is a remote hotel. Other hotels closer to main beach had shuttles.
- aircon issues on arrival in 2 out of the 3 rooms we booked
On the positive side, the setting is amazing and the traditional restaurant was pretty good. We didn’t dine at Zoe Hora on principal given it was overpriced and more focused on external guests/instagrammers.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this stay to friends.

Avoid
Location is beautiful and structurally the hotel is stunning, however the service is absolutely terrible.
We were seated at our table and then I’m not sure if waiters are assigned to each table and ours got missed but no one served us from then. We flagged a waiter after 30 minutes and asked for water. They never asked if we wanted to order any other drinks. We searched the menu on the website ourselves as we were never handed any, or given the QR code others were scanning. We flagged a waiter to order. The food was okay but no better than any of the other restaurants in Dhermi and double the price. The portions are very small. We then flagged a waiter again for the bill. If you want the location honestly just walk up at sunrise and at the very most get a drink at the bar, don’t bother with food.
