Borderland - Wagah Border
Smooth check-in at 4 am, thanks to delays of Indigo. Abhishek at check-in was very good.
Nitesh at Restaurant was also very good in service.
Overall the buffet spread was very good, they accommodated our request to provide Jain food.
Rooms are spacious and well lit. Also the property has a good vibe with big windows and location is right on Lawrence Road, which is a place good for shopping and restaurants.
Highly recommended.

Very disappointing and unsafe experience
Our stay at Sterling Borderland Amritsar was extremely poor and stressful.
• Room service was very slow and unresponsive.
• Despite repeatedly informing the manager about a washroom leakage, no one came to fix it.
• When we extended our stay by one day, we were made to wait for hours for a room shift and were forced to adjust in one room.
• The biggest concern was safety — my 1-year-old baby suffered a head injury due to sharp edges on the table and furniture, and we had to rush her to the hospital. This is completely unacceptable for a family hotel.
• Breakfast quality was so bad that we had to eat outside during our stay.
• At checkout, we were wrongfully charged ₹2,000 extra, which the staff assured would be refunded. Despite multiple follow-ups, the amount is still not refunded.
Overall, the experience showed poor management, lack of accountability, and unsafe infrastructure. This was highly unprofessional, especially for a brand like Sterling. I would strongly not recommend this property to families, particularly those traveling with children.

A peaceful and hygienic stay
1. At the time of my stay, no channel on the TV was broadcasting due to insufficient balance. As I am travelling with an infant, I truly require that. I even asked for this at the reception, but no one showed up. Having a smart TV or at least a normal channel subscription is expected at this cost.
2. There was no bathroom mat or towel placed in place of a mat; this is again a must requirement in studio rooms.
