Big comfy rooms for budget travel

One of the best hotel of Kalimpong. Located near KFC and Domino's, and Roxxy pub is nearby too. Big comfy rooms and good food. The cook took great care to cater to my child's requirement. Visited with family recently on a vacation and my kid liked it. The manager Sankar was super helpful. Great value for money.

Horrible experience

Let's talk about location first, the hotel is quite far from the main market. Besides the road down to the hotel is quite steep and slippery. Old people need to be very cautious. Rooms were very large and neat. But I experienced a horrible situation due the communication gap between the Kolkata booking office and the hotel manager. I had booked 3 rooms on the same floor for 3 friends and their family including my family. I had paid an advance amount and had even received a receipt with the exact room numbers I selected. But when we actually went to the hotel we were told that 1 particular room in the same floor had been rented out to another boarder. Hence, we have to take the room in the floor below. When contacted the Kolkata booking office, the concerned person started throwing attitude and used very unprofessional language. He kept denying there was no mistake from his part and we are the ones lying to get advantage. He was convinced only my husband sent him the screenshots of the WhatsApp conversations and the receipt he only had sent us. Being in the service industry myself, I never saw any hotelier behaving with his customer so rudely. I would recommend not to book this hotel.

While we always aim to accommodate specific room preferences, adjustments are occasionally necessary due to scheduling updates. While we understand this room assignment caused initial friction, our onsite team resolved the issue within 10 minutes by successfully accommodating your group in room 205. We provided you with the exact spacious, neat accommodations you expected, making the extreme escalation that followed entirely unwarranted.
What we cannot accept, however, is the mistreatment of our hospitality staff. While you mention unprofessionalism, our team experienced an extreme lack of courtesy and disrespectful behavior from your side when we were actively resolving the issue. Hospitality is a two-way street built on mutual respect. Because the situation escalated to a point where a respectful conversation was impossible, we proactively offered a full refund of your advance amount so you could check out and find accommodations better suited to your demeanor.
Since 2018, Hotel Aashiyana has operated with the utmost dignity, earning our reputation as the best budget hotel in Kalimpong for our dedicated service and stunning views. We stand firmly by our staff and our policies. While we always regret when a guest leaves unhappy, we are entirely comfortable parting ways with customers who do not treat our hardworking team with basic respect.

Best Kanchanjunga view hotel at Kalimpong

We book this hotel over phone and visited ther office at Siliguri. Hotel Aashiyana is one of the best Bengali hotel at Kalimpong. Our room was spacious and well maintain and view from room is excellent. All the staffs were very helpful . The special thing was food very tasty and reasonably price. I like to recommend this hotel to the travelers

Great Kanchanjangha View from Hotel Rooms

Whenever I travel to hills and north Bengal, my goal is to find a hotel that offers a great view of Kanchanjagha from the room. Due to the fact that I am a single mother with children, I was hesitant to choose the Aashiyana hotel. While I have visited Kalimpong several times, this was my first time staying at Aashiyana Hotel. It is a very friendly hotel that is ideal for a family vacation. I found the rooms to be very spacious and offered a wonderful view of Kanchanjangha. I have never stayed in such a great quality budget hotel in Kalimpong before. Only five minutes are required to reach the taxi stand from the hotel. The hotel ambience was very pleasant and family-oriented.

Best hotel in Kalimpong

I have visited this hotel many times and I feel very happy after visiting Aashiyana. The view from the hotel and room is simply superb. One special feature of this hotel is special Bengali food, which is very rear at Kalimpong. Rooms are specious and well mentioned and hotel management is simply superb.
