First Good Hotel on the way to the City from Airport!

If you are looking for place to stay near the Bagdogra Airport. Need not look further. The hotel has decent rooms for the price and a good restaurant with decent food.
The staff is helpful and the hotel in general is well managed. I have already stayed there twice and will recommend it!

Bad bad bad

1. Charged for a center table glass which was already cracked but claimed by the hotel house keeping that we broke it
2. Toilet flush does not work, luckily for us, the hotel did not charge us for the malfunction
3. Only Bengali news channels in our room.
4. Hotel reception staff and house keeping staff and restaurant staff poor handlers and have a very non coperative attitude
.....
Many more deficiency, too long a list to mention.
Yes, they do not honor your web booking thru other online sources like trivago. Com, etc

Terribly managed hotel which holds promise

This is a hotel between Bagdogra and Siliguri which has the potential to be quite attractive but is awfully managed. The rooms are good but not with many frills. They are spacious with comfortable beds. There is a hot water kettle, a small flat screen TV with many channels. There is no mini-fridge, no hand-shower in the bathroom. Free toiletries are most basic. The hotel, very close to North Bengal University, is right on the main road to Siliguri yet the rooms are remarkably quiet. What really drags it way down is the pathetic service. The staff are not at all warm, even reluctant to help at times. Room service, when accepted, is awfully slow. Tea was delivered in the room only once after some cajoling; it took one hour! Breakfast room service was declined. A double room had one towel, one soap bar, one cup and even one tea bag! Getting more is not easy. House-keeping, room service etc. are slow to answer phone calls and not at all well-trained. The free wifi was non-functional. The fan had no regulator. In a banquet the food was good but the service in the restaurant was utterly disorganized. The hotel construction and décor are good. The staff need complete replacement to do justice to the place.

Not so good as was expected but close to Airport

We stayed at this Hotel in March 2017 end. Based on the reviews we booked this hotel online as we wanted to stay close to the Bagdogra airport so as to catch the next morning flight to Delhi. We drove from Gangtok and checked in at around 9 PM. We got good rooms from the person in the reception quickly but whatever basic things we requested for from the staff ended up in a negation. The reason/ excuse was the store room is closed and we have to wait till 8 AM in the morning. That was a real bad user experience for us as we were already tired due to long travel. As our flight was in the morning so we requested for breakfast at 7 AM (instead of 7:30 usual time) even that ended up in negation. Also, We had to book our personal cabs for airport transport in the morning.

A Terrible Experience

Good location enroute airport. Imposing building. Terrible service. We checked in at about 08.00 p.m. though the room was booked since 12.00 noon. Yet basic amenities were missing. TV set was out of order. There was a single cup, a single glass and a single towel in the room for the two. Tea-maker was there but no tea bags, milk pouch and sugar cubes. Dining and room service bills must be settled in cash and not through card.
