Great homestay option with wonderful service

We, a group of 11 including one child, stayed here for 3 nights in 5 rooms. Our room rates included breakfast. Rooms were all different, some bigger than others and one room had a TV while others didn't. Prices were also different and we think the charges are reasonable. The homestay was really well maintained. Rooms and common areas very clean. Bathrooms were ok but keeping in mind the price point, acceptable. Hot water was available and all rooms had tea/coffee facility. Cupboards were there but no safe for valuables were provided in the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Most importantly the staff attitude were excellent. They answered all our questions with a smile, organized cars for sightseeing plus transfers and upon request adjusted their food serving time. Apart from breakfast, which gets served under the covered section of the lawn, we also took dinner from them. Food was always freshly made and testy. The homestay provides filtered water. Just one point for future guests, this place has number of pet dogs, all of whom were polite and didn't bother us at all, but if someone suffers from some kind of allergy then this point should be kept in mind.
Overall we had a great time while staying here and would recommend this place to anyone who is not looking for something fancy.

North Bengal Trip with friends

The place is just awesome. The owners Mrs. & Mr. Morris along with their daughter Mary ensured that we had the most pleasant stays. The caretaker and manager Pradip was also very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are very airy, well-lit and gives a great view of the valley. I was given the attic room which was so cozy. The food is delicious and very tasty, and the menu is very well thought of. I will strongly recommend the place to all and will look forward to staying there again.

So good that we want to live there

We stayed three nights in the Cozy Suite and this part of our ten-day holiday in the hills were the best. Spacious, tastefully decorated and with a nice bathroom and convenient kitchenette, it felt right at home. This suite has the best view of the other side of Kalimpong and one can just sit on the balcony and chill. The whole property is built on levels, filled with potted flowers and one can potter around the property and engage with the lovely dogs and cats. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious and the staff and owner so welcoming and friendly. Shoutout to Pradeep, Mary and Maurice for making us feel like we belonged there. Gingko Eyrie is THE homestay benchmark.

Nothing compares to the hospitality of the family.

Ours was a family trip, twelve of us, including eight children aged between 11 and 21. We took the entire house comprising of 6 rooms, the 2 kings suits were massive in size and very beautiful, the 2 cozy attic rooms had a wonderful wooden interior.
The lawn is spacious and we spent evenings playing and singing amidst nature.
Dispite the beauty of the place, nothing compares to the hospitality of the family. Mary and her parents are wonderful people to spend time with. The entire staff is polite and helpful too. The cook suddenly got sick and the lady of the house cooked us dinner, breakfast, and lunch to carry along.

Peaceful place

It was a good experience,everything is very beautifully arranged.humble staff, hygienic food.the most beautiful mountain view from our balcony.and environment is very peaceful. I visit again with my frnds and family .
