Not worthy....

OYO 6163 Hotel City Palace... wasn't a suggested place to stay and specially for families its not suitable. For a solo or group short trips its kind a ok ok place only. The staff was not that good and helpful.

Worth-less.... total waste of money.... untrustworthy...

fraudsters...rude staff....greedy people....
did not honour advance-paid bookings by oyorooms tonight...sold out their rooms to other guests for extra money....
the reception staff and manager should be made to stand naked on prince chowk and beaten with shoes in public for denying me a booked and paid room....and arguing on my arrival at the hotel...if they claim to be so courteous, they could have already transferred my booking to a nearby hotel themselves, at the same price...or at least informed me before-hand....
the owners should be fined and the staff jailed for this breech of trust and dishonouring the business contract, without any prior intimation....caused me so much inconvenience and time loss of two hours at 9pm night....

Horrible Experience

This place is located in a dirty locality, it's right in front of the main gate of the courts of the city and is very noisy and crowded. The rooms are very small and they do not provide a platform to place your suitcases, so you have to place your luggage on the floor and pick them up every time you want to take something out of them. The complimentary breakfast is a sham, they give you an option but when you ask for it they say it is not available and so your are at their mercy and have to eat what they offer. The receptionist is rude and treats you as if they are doing us a favor. They don't even provide you with the basic toiletries and a news paper to read. If you pay by card they charge you 2 1/2% on the bill. There is no such a thing as cleaning the room or changing the linen. We were there for 3 days and there was no such a thing as House Keeping. It's a below average Hotel and for that charge or by paying a little extra, you can get a much better hotel on Rajpur road a much better location. Don't even send your worst enemy to this Hotel.

Not That Good, Not That Bad

I stayed here with my girlfriend for couple of days since she came to Dehradun for a holiday. The hotel is average, a value for money one. We reached the hotel quite late since our flight from Delhi got delayed horribly. On reaching, we were escorted to our room immediately with OYO Kit. Room was clean & spacious . All amenities was as expected. Food was also good [ Not Very good though]

Average hotel

Doesn't have too many options in breakfast menu. But a plus is its location, it is very near to the railway station. They need to add the facility through card payment for the convinience of travellers.
