Great Value!! Lodging, Food, Service really good!!
Room, cleanliness, basic facilities = 4/5.
Food Quality and Menu = 4/5.
Location = 4/5.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was really comfortable.
Food offered was good for the price (few may find it costly but it is worth whatever you pay for)

Disappointed...
Had stayed here on 2nd March on the recommendation of one of our relatives but we were really disappointed with our experience. This is not a resort, it is a proper home stay as you would find in Harihareshwar. We had taken 1 four bedded room and 1 two bedded room. But since we wanted 2 adjoining rooms, the owner Mr. Wakankar obliged with a four bedded room instead of two bedded one at no extra cost. But the rooms were in a very bad shape and in an urgent need of renovation. There were cobwebs in the washroom, spider in the basin, the toilets weren't clean, the bedsheets had holes in them, the AC wasn't working properly due to fluctuation in electricity. Even the TV wasn't working, when we called the guy to check it, he checked something and then was just walking away saying it's not working. There was no effort on his part to get it replaced knowing well that there were other empty rooms from where he could have replaced the TV. Only after I suggested this he replaced the TV and the set top box.
There is nothing much to do here apart from the fact that the beach is just about 5-7 minutes away. The only saving grace was the food which was tasty and served hot. Puran poli which they served was really good. But the lady who served the food wasn't very approachable. Couple of times when we asked for tea and the next day when we asked to serve breakfast in parts, though she didn't say no, we could make out from her face that she didn't like it.
They charge Rs. 2000 for four bedded ac room and rs. 1500 for two bedded ac room which is way too much for the services they offer. Won't be visiting this place again unless it's renovated.

walking distance from beach
The Owner Mr.wakankar is a nice person.But nowadays he is not looking day today activities.dining section is managed by mr.abhay while vinesh is looking rooms section.when we travelled TV was not working.When enquired vinesh told the cable fault is there.during our stay TV not repaired.water bottles were chargable.no free water was provided.there are 2 bed and 4 bed rooms. 4 bedrooms charges 1800 ac and 1400 non ac.No complimentary breakfast was provided. Even initially while billing rs 2000 was written.When told to Vintesh that over telephone Mr. Wakankar told Rs.1800 then he reduces to 1800.Mr.Vintesh was not ready to do anything.during our visit night lamp in the room was not working.it was not replaced during our stay.When asked to sweep the room vintesh reluctantly swept the room.he is not ready to do anything.I have been heard initially that Mr.Wakankar is a very nice person .But what I found that as nowadays he is not looking day today matters hence service becomes poorer.Not proper cleanliness in the rooms.

Well maintained home stay very close to the beach
A very well maintained home stay, very close to the beach, with comfortable rooms & very good homemade vegetarian food......
Had interacted with the owner, Mr Wakankar, for the booking. Unfortunately, the family was away during our stay. However, did not face any problem during our stay as Mr Wakankkar had briefed the caretaker & team. We found the team very hospitable & ready to meet any requirement.
The place is easy to locate as there is a sign board on the main road leading to the beach & temple. There are two double bedded rooms & 3/4 family rooms. All rooms are well equipped with AC, TV and cots with good mattress & clean linen. The bathrooms are well maintained. There is parking space for 3/4 cars inside the bungalow.
This is a very quiet place and has rustic charm. The beach is 4/5 minutes walk from the place and this particular area of the beach is not crowded at all and gives one a feeling of a private beach.
They serve only vegetarian food. We had dinner & breakfast there as we stayed only for one night. You need to tell in advance what you want to eat as all food is homemade & is prepared against specific order. Food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Maharashtrian dishes were authentic and would recommend people visiting this place to stick to Maharashtrian cuisine.

Nice home stay with private beach
Mauli beach resort is a nice home stay to spend a weekend. The place has few double and a couple 4 bed rooms. Rooms are not too great (as this is more like a home stay), but are clean and decent enough to spend a couple of nights.
The owner Mr. Vakankar is very courteous and will make you feel at home. The place has coconut, beetlenut and banana plantations in the backyard and beach behind it!!! So it has a private beach!!
You can get veg food and snacks, but will have to pre order. Food is homely with local taste.
