Wonderful days in Naranag
The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains and the soothing sound of the river flowing nearby. Just a short walk away are the fascinating ancient ruins of the thousand-year-old Shiva Temple, making this a truly special place to experience both nature and history.
What made our stay even more memorable was the hospitality of the entire team. They were kind, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything, making us feel completely at home. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Bilal, Manager; Basbir Ahmad Khan, Chef; Tuhai, Guide; and Showkat Ahmad Jagal, Assistant, for making our stay so enjoyable.
We also had an the wonderful company and warm hospitality of the young Taha Hussain Khan, who accompanied us on walks through the village and along the river.
The food deserves a very special mention. Every meal was prepared with great care using fresh, natural ingredients. The dishes were simple, wholesome, and full of natural flavour, honest home-style cooking at its best.
We recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in one of the most beautiful corners of Kashmir
