A Truly Memorable Stay at Astre Vue Homestay
Had a wonderful stay at Astre Vue Homestay. The property is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Peaceful atmosphere and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!

Horrible rooms and non existent service
One of the worst Hotels i have ever stayed in , We were a group of around 20 families for a function so they knew about the arrangments they had to make.
Empty reception counter , no body to transfer luggage also . Dingy . moldy and stinking rooms. We were is room 224 and all are friends were in that wing. Hand wash was water mixed , stinky loos . The head shower had water coming out from every palce excpet the spouts. Room was so small that one cant open the suitcase except on table or bed. On our wing, our room was the only one with tea maker and that to the tea bags etc were kep ton side baord with no tray etc.
We reached the hotel at 3 pm and asked for lunch and were flatly refused that we dont serve lunch so we waited for high tea which was onlu mixed pakoras and luke warm tea.
Food at dinner time was cold as we were told by staff the hotel as they did not have burners to keep it warm . The serving bowls could be opened as handles were broken. They have only 5 staff it seems
Breakfast was supposed to be at 8.30 and they refused to even to serve anything before , the reason was at 8.20 am their staff came from market with Bread and other stuff and then it was prepared and served at 9 am .
The owner is around but I think he or his famly dont see the rooms or maybe they get clients from companies for get toghters etc so they dont bother.
Just a palce to be avoided .

Best Mountain villa / resort
This property has various stay options such as delux rooms, villas, tents etc. I stayed in the villa. It was a 2BHK villa with sunrise view from the bedroom. OMG!! I never saw sunrise from the mountains with this ease. It was just amazing!! One of the best sunset I saw in the mountains.
The location of the villa gives it advantage to get the most stunning views from Gumkhal. Got a stunning view of the Himalayas, sunset, sunrise, star studded sky, halo. I staff was friendly and hospitable. Loved the food and hospitality.
Glass walls in villa and glass room made me feel so connected to nature even when I was indoors, I loved the integration.
Dr. Yash, owner of the resort is gem of a person and doing a lot for the upliftment of locals in the village. Such as there are organic products from the locals available in the resort such as A2 ghee, turmeric which are used in food preps and also available for sale. Educational programmers for children, clinical studies for local herbs etc.
It was an amazing place to be!! Whenever you plan your next vacation to Lansdowne do try out this place.

The awesomeness of the place secretes dopamine in me !!
The experience of the stay was one of the nicest for us. Located in the serenity, the views from the hotel was the best I have experienced. We could see the snow cladded mountains peaks of the Indo-Tibetan boundary, the sight of the mighty Nanda Devi kept us in awe. The full glass windows allowed us to see the sunrise and sunset, which was mesmerising. Away from the unnecessary vibrations of cities, the beautifully designed property kept us contented during our visit. I will surely ask my friends and other family members to visit. I have known of people who have repeatedly stayed in this hotel from past few years. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay
One of best places to stay ...views are just awesome one can see sunset and sunrise and snow capped Himalaya from this property..well maintained gardens and excellent staff coupled with overall good food .
