At Chitrakatha, We didn’t just stay - We lived a story
Absolutely loved our 3-day stay here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This hotel offers excellent value for money and was one of the most economical stays we’ve experienced without compromising on comfort or quality. The property was spotlessly clean, centrally located, and made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The rooftop restaurant was another highlight, offering beautiful views and a lovely atmosphere.
What truly made our stay special was the personalized hospitality from Anshu. He took the time to share the history of the city and prepared a customized itinerary along with a detailed map, including recommended food spots. This thoughtful guidance helped us explore the city efficiently and discover some amazing local experiences.
The staff were always polite, helpful, and welcoming. As female travelers, we felt completely safe throughout our stay, making it an excellent choice for solo female travelers as well.
The food was outstanding. The Laal Maas prepared by Anshu was absolutely delicious, and the Chicken Stew is a must-try for anyone visiting the hotel. Also, don’t skip the breakfast package—the breakfast combos are fresh, tasty, and great value for money.
A special thanks to Ballu Bhaiya, our auto driver, who made sightseeing effortless. His service was economical, reliable, and perfectly aligned with the customized itinerary prepared by Anshu. He was patient, punctual, polite, and always mindful of our comfort and safety, making our travel experience smooth and stress-free.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, economical, and memorable stay with exceptional hospitality. We would happily stay here again!

What a deal!!
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and was genuinely impressed by the hospitality and services provided.
The biggest highlight was that I was given a complimentary room upgrade without even requesting it, and there was no additional charge. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the stay even more special.
The in-house restaurant is beautiful and very aesthetic, creating a lovely ambience. The food was also really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals during the stay.
The staff were extremely polite, courteous, and helpful throughout. Another thing I really appreciated was the availability of a cloakroom, which was convenient for storing luggage before check-in and after check-out.
They also provide guests with the facility to use the washroom and freshen up before check-in or after check-out, which is especially helpful when you have time to spare before travelling.
Please also try and take story telling experience from hotel where they will provide you a lot of insightful information about Jaipur and it will result in saving your time and help plan the trip without wasting your time and money.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The combination of great hospitality, thoughtful guest facilities, good food, and a beautiful ambience made my stay truly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

Outstanding hospitality and unique storytelling!
Hotel Chitra Katha lives up to its name! The owner, Mr. Anshu Ravi Sharma, treated us to wonderful historical stories and pictorial guides about Jaipur's construction, helping us plan our itinerary for free. The rooms were spotless, hygienic, and comfortable, and the staff's courteous service made us feel truly welcome. While the dining is slightly pricey, the exceptional hospitality and guidance make it completely worth it. Highly recommended!

Chitra Katha
My experience with Chitra Katha was amazing. Everything was in place and location was very near to major tourists attraction spots. Staff was very cooperative and rooms were good and spacious. Shout out to Mr Anshu who was very helpful and one best thing worth to mention is that he takes feedback very positively.
Overall it was very nice place to stay and will recommend this stay for my future trips to Jaipur.

Talk to Mr. Anshul to make your trip worth staying at this beautiful property.
Had a great stay at the chithra katha between 30th July and 3rd August of 2026. We booked the stay to attend a business conference at JECC, but upon meeting Mr. Anshul, who manages the property, our trip became more exciting as he guided us on how to explore the Pink city by explaining a bit of the city's history, Map and the stories which were explained in such a way that we were compelled to visit the places out of interest. Our trip would have been a waste had we decided to stay at other property and focus just on the conference. We thank Mr. Anshul for the inputs and advises which truly made our trip worth staying at the property.
