Not a good hotel to stay
The restaurant is an absolute garbage and provided us with raw food, complaining to them they didn't bother. Had to leave the food untouched. I had two days booking in the hotel so next day had to consume the raw food, it seemed they don't bother with cooking as every time they provided raw food regardless of what was ordered except for the chapati.
The rooms on the front are good rooms with balconies but if you book only like I did with makemytrip they provided me rooms at the back. I had 3 rooms booked and there is no balcony and back window faces a wall. One of the rooms had a burning smell and found that curtains were burnt, they never bother to replace anything. There is a musty smell in the whole hotel. The bathrooms smell a lot, I guess they are not cleaned well.
There was a powercut and they never even bothered to start the generator, the reception area is empty most of the time so to find someone to help you out will be a nightmare.
You must have noticed there are a lot of reviews that state the hotel is very good, use your judgement when reading reviews by contributors who have only one review.

Best Place to Stay at Joshimath
The best part of our trip besides the divine darshan of Shri Badrinath and Shri Kedarnath was our stay at Joshimath in Hotel Dronagiri .
We had booked an executive suite for 6 days and let me tell you our experience there was far better than the one we had at The Tattva Resort which proclaims to be one of the best at Joshimath .
Not only the staff was very professional and courteous but at the same time very very helpful and caring . There was nothing that you would ask for and they wouldnt deliver at your doorstep .
The view was awesome , room service was very very good and the executive suite was not only bigger and better but also some 2000 rupees per day cheaper than what Tattva Resorts were offering at the same timelines .
I would specially like to mention here the Manager " Mr. Amit Rawat " as he was very very helpful and at the same time very professional .
If you are travelling to Joshimath then this is the place to stay for sure .
Though better to book Executive Suite rather any other at this hotel cause that is the best one at the most cheapest price when compared to Tattva which is just simply overpriced and not good at services when compared to Dronagiri Hotel .
We hired the self Drive car from Myles which was again a way better experience than any of the times i have hired Zoomcar . A big Thumbs up to Myles as well .

Overall it's a great place with good people.
