A wonderful stay!
We visited the property recently on the 9-10th of August,2021. During a pandemic one is generally a little more worried about the cleanliness and hygiene of a place they're staying at.
At casuarina bay, they did everything and beyond to make the place spotless!
David and his wonderful wife Nina, do their very best to make every guest comfortable. They take personal care of each guests accomodation as well!
One of their staff members Amit, did his best to ensure that our stay was pleasant as well!
So if you're looking for a CLEAN and we'll maintained place, where covid protocols are followed and the staff is friendly, coupled by a wonderful couple to host you, this is your go to place!
I loved the stay and my dogs had a blast here too

Terrible experience. Would not recommend
We went to Casuarina Bay Beach Resort Kovalam, ECR , as a team of 20 people and our experience was extremely bad and saddening.
Staff and management were rude, service was extremely slow. After fighting we got the food 1 hour late and the staff was extremely rude in responding to any situation. It seemed as though the staff was avoiding to service any guest. It was not only us but other guests also were having the same issues.
I would NOT recommend this resort to ANYBODY. If I could I would give this resort minus 1 stars, but 1 star is the minimum I am force to give.

Only if i had minus stars to give. Do not trust the photos posted.
The experience was so terrible that i deserve to ask them for my full refund, initially when we had booked the resort the person stressed a lot on hygiene as it was covid times, but when we reached the resort, we had not seen a dirtier swimming pool than that, and when asked to clean , the answers were very blunt like "You can see the floor of the pool then its clean" When the pool was filled with sand, dust and what not. It doesn't end there when we asked them to clean and to an extent they cleaned the surface of the pool, but when we went inside, we found A FULL GLASS (used for drinking) and a broken piece of ANOTHER GLASS, which wounded one of our friend and THE TILES OF THE FLOOR SURFACE were broken which again injured our feet. Further when we complained this to the manager, rather than accepting the mistake he blamed it on the guests which was more unethical, and they had cleaned the pool around 1-2 pm and we had entered the pool around 4 pm, which leaves us wondering to what kind of cleaning was done. Do not expect a lot from the quality or taste of the food that is included in the package. During the day our time went in complaining about the room's AC which wasn't functioning well, and the night was more pathetic because then the AC started throwing solid ice , and the current went on and off. From 12-4 am the current tripped for every minute until it went off and frustrated we complained again on the respond of which the manager spoke his part and just cut the call on face.

Good experience
Stayed with my family. Had a good experience.
Pros -
Cottages were spacious and clean
Dinner by the beach was a pleasant surprise
Good location
Cons
Service is good but can be better. Although our requests were solved, it needed reminders.
Food is on the pricier side though the quality is decent.

Not good
We have been visited this resort with family. We don't like the way they are treating to the customer , worst attitude.they asks you to pay some amount before eating food.
The Manager And owner both are behaving same.the rooms are not good.
