First and best solo trip...

Stayed for 2 nights in the 10-bed dorm while travelling solo and honestly loved the vibe at Loopin McLeodGanj.
Great location, scenic views from the balcony, a really nice book collection in the common room and a proper bonfire spot to chill in the evenings. The best part was meeting random people and actually making some good friends along the way.
Clean washroom and property.
Definitely recommend for solo travellers.

The balcony views, books, bonfire evenings, and clean spaces are great, but meeting random people and leaving with new friends is what makes Loopin McLeodGanj special. Weird

Water problem, mosquitoes and fly in the common room . No hot water for several days . Plus the host is weird doesn’t interact or acknowledge. Only good thing is location, which is amazing

Best Property

I had a wonderful stay here as a solo traveler. The property has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff and host were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made me feel at home. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful backyard—it's a perfect place to relax, meet fellow travelers, or enjoy a peaceful evening. The balcony offers breathtaking views, especially during sunrise and sunset, making it the highlight of my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with amazing hospitality and stunning scenery.

Come for the pool table, maybe stay for other stuff

Felt like family to me
Including the problematic child

Best hostel for long stays

Great location. Self service kitchen and laundry.
Great staff, well maintained dorms.
