Review: Hotel on McLeodganj-Dharamkot RoadI stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to McLeodganj, and while it has potential, there are some notable drawbacks. The hotel's location on the main road between McLeodganj and Dharamkot is convenient for exploring both areas, with easy access to local attractions, cafes, and trekking routes. The surroundings are scenic, offering a glimpse of the serene Himalayan vibe.However, the major issue is the accessibility. Guests have to climb a significant number of stairs from the main road to reach the hotel reception, which can be quite challenging, especially for those with luggage, mobility issues, or after a long day of exploring. This trek up the stairs felt exhausting and could be a dealbreaker for some travelers.The hotel itself was decent—clean rooms, friendly staff, and basic amenities were in place. The views from the rooms were pleasant, but the stair climb overshadowed the experience. I’d recommend this place only if you’re fit and don’t mind the physical effort to reach the reception. For others, it might be worth looking for a more accessible option in the area.

A Home with amazing views

This is the perfect Place to visit Dharamsala. In Mcleodganj, far from noise and with amazing wiews, super kind staff and best acomodattions, the White Eatter Inn is a Home where we want to come back.

The hotel looks good, the view from the room is great, just opposite of Bhagsunag water fall, got exactly the same room as shown in the app, staff behavior is awesome, good cook, food offered was great, various food options available. The only problem is this hotel is situated in Dharamkot which is a bit far from the main market.

Excelentes vistas, tranquilo

El hotel está situado a las afueras del pueblo, a unos diez - quince minutos andando del centro de McLeodGanj. Es muy tranquilo porque no se nota el bullicio del centro.
Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas y el baño es grande y estaba muy limpio. El único inconveniente es que la habitación no tenía calefacción y en noviembre las noches son frías, aunque se dormía bien porque había mantas y edredones de sobra. Aun así serían mas confortables con algún calefactor o similar. La habitación tenía un balcón bastante grande y las vistas del valle eran magníficas.
El personal es muy amable y servicial y el desayuno, que te servían en la habitación, era bueno.
En resumen, repetiré cuando vuelva a McLeodGanj porque me gustó el hotel, la habitación y sobre todo la tranquilidad, algo que se echa demasiado de menos en la India, aunque espero que para entonces hayan puesto calefactores en todas las habitaciones.
