A magical moment out of time

A huge waw as soon as we walk through the door. Magical place full of surprises and discoveries. Welcome to the top with our smiling and available host. Very good time sharing. Thank you for everything (camel ride, cooking class, wrestling and dancing show). I recommend with my eyes closed.

Wonderful stay!

Had the best time here! Beautiful hotel with incredible history. Each room is unique and special, and we were met with such hospitality. Once in a lifetime experience!

Bad experience

I had a very disappointing experience at Suroth Mahal Hotel. The overall attitude of the property felt extremely biased—they seem to cater primarily to foreign guests and show very little respect toward Indian visitors. What was most surprising is that despite repeatedly implying that the property is “only for foreigners,” they still accepted our booking. If that’s truly their stance, they should be transparent upfront instead of making guests feel unwelcome after arrival.
The pricing is completely unjustified. The food was very average at best, yet charged at a premium level. On top of that, hygiene standards were poor—the property felt dusty and not well maintained, which is unacceptable for the price they are charging.
The only positive aspect of our stay was one lady staff member, who was polite and sensible. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was overshadowed by the rude and dismissive behavior of the management.
Honestly, based on how the place operates, it seems better suited only for foreign tourists. If the management intends to maintain such a preference, they should clearly state it instead of treating Indian guests disrespectfully.
Overall, it felt disrespectful and not worth the money. Definitely not recommended.

Going Back to stay again

We stayed here for 2 nights was Absolutely amazing were treated as royalty taken around by the prince to see the castle, taken down the streets around with a chauffeur to show us around, clean tidy and great food..
