Excellent Hospitality and Outstanding F&B Service at Katra Marriott
A special thanks to Mr. Partik Tiwari and Mr. Sanjeet Kumar from the F&B department. Their service was outstanding—very professional, attentive, and courteous. They ensured that all our dining experiences were smooth and enjoyable.
I would also like to appreciate the entire hotel staff for their warm behavior, prompt service, and dedication. Everyone was very cooperative and made our stay comfortable and memorable.
The overall experience was truly excellent, and I look forward to visiting again.

Amazing Hospitality & Memorable Stay at Marriott Katra
The check-in process was very smooth, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary pick-and-drop facility to the Tarakote Yatra point, which added great convenience to our visit.
The hotel staff was extremely attentive, courteous, and always ready to help, making the entire experience even more special. The food quality was also excellent — every meal was delicious and well prepared.
Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Katra. Thank you to the entire team for the warm hospitality and excellent service.

Extremely poor service
What made matters worse was the behavior of the general manager, who came across as extremely arrogant and dismissive instead of being helpful or solution-oriented. It felt like guest concerns were not taken seriously at all.
The food options were quite limited, and the quality did not justify the pricing. For a hotel of this level, I expected a much wider variety and better taste.
Additionally, the hygiene standards were concerning. Certain areas did not seem well-maintained, which further added to the negative experience.
Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations, and I would not recommend this property to others looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Very poor experience at Marriott Katra—slow service, missing basic amenities, and unclean room with cigarette smell and dirty ba
There were no bath towels in the room upon arrival, and basic requests were handled very poorly. I had to ask for an ice bucket three times, and it was finally delivered after nearly an hour. This kind of delay for such a simple request is unacceptable.
The room itself was also not properly maintained. It had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which made the stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the balcony was full of cigarette butts at the time of check-in, clearly indicating a lack of proper cleaning and hygiene standards.
Overall, this stay did not meet even basic hospitality expectations. Extremely disappointing experience.
