Cool place with an amazing host

We've been in touch with Farman(the host) since our booking. When we arrived late at night he was at the station waiting for us with a rickshaw, and immediately he let us feel like a part of his family. We spent 5 nights here, and the host showed us everything around the city and suggested the best time to visit everything. He brought us to the south and eastern temple, and also explained to us those temples and then gave us our time to visit them in calm, then he helped us to book tickets for the main temples in the city (since they can only be booked online) and suggested we get there during the afternoon for a better view. The second day he came with us to visit the Raneh Falls and then he showed us the villages around the city and at night we cooked some very good fish (try to ask him if you can do the same since it is a cool experience and an excellent fish to eat) with his family and ate it all together since it was also his birthday. The third day he showed us the old town of Khajuraho with his friend that explained everything about the village and then we went to more villages and farms around so we went to buy some groceries from locals and we cooked local fish again for dinner. On the last day he helped us to book a very late ticket(ask it in the previous day since it's almost fully booked every day)to go visit Panna in the afternoon and he also brought us there and waited for us to go back home. We are very happy about this experience and to feel a part of their family. Thank you so much Farman

Top notche

One of best homestay i have ever stayed. Every spot is near and room is neat and clean.
Bathroom and toilet they are very clean.
If you are coming to khajarao please do stay here. I highly recommend this place

Excellent Stay and very comfortable.,, mising it.. but will be back

Hi everyone, it was and amazing stay, seen so many places with Farman (918839283378) who owns this place, not much of pen artist but i am sure the pictures will give u a great idea of how much fun i had staying in Khajuraho home stay. Thanks Farman for the wonderful experience and showing me places like the lonely road less traveled .. amazing and keep it going!!!

Welcoming and delicious food

We were three female friends travelling across India. Staying at the homestay was a highlight of our trip, as we learned so much about the culture and history of Khajuraho and the family made us feel so welcome. The rooms are large, have fans, clean, wifi and a shared bathroom. Khajuraho was a welcome stop after the bustle at Delhi and Varanasi, and lots to see. Fram was amazing, he met us at the airport, helped organise and took us to Raneh Falls, Panna National Park, temples, local fair and beautiful spots to see the sunset. We did a morning safari to Panna National Park, which was beautiful in the morning light and lots of wildlife. We saw a leopard and her cub, hyena monkeys, lots of deer and birds. Another surprising highlight was Raneh Falls, the scenery is completely different again. The homestay made us feel at home and helped with medicines for our stomach problems, which we had picked up in Varanasi. His mum makes delicious food so you never go hungry! If you have time she can give cooking lessons. They can also organise bike rides if you are interested. The train from Varanasi to Khajuraho was fully booked, so we got a flight which was on time, quick and cool to see the Western temples from above! We sat on the left of the plane. If you are interested in learning about culture, having great conversations, exploring Khajuraho, then I recommend staying at the homestay. Fram can help with train tickets and travel advice.
