Exceptional..

The lost hostel at Fort Kochi is in a 100 year old Dutch building, where you can have a close encounter with the Dutch architecture. The ferry service is just 3min away from the hostel and the place also located near to the epic Kochi Muziris binalle. I stayed with them for few days and they made my stay special. The hostel is super clean and the staffs were really nice to me and were ready to help me with all the questions I had. Thank you lost family for the unforgettable experience. lots of love...

Ok for 1 night

Dormitory for 6 people was very stuffy because the windows could not be opened. That's why it smelled stuffy in the room. The mattress also had a strange smell, which makes you wonder what happened on it. The bathroom looked clean (although old), but smelled like pee. There was AC in the room, which was set to 17 °C. Each bed also has its own lamp and fan. We left again after 1 night.

Good location but basic hostel

Very basic hostel and could do with greater cleanliness in bathrooms and kitchen. No key for room and therefore was unable to lock my room.
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed in private room.

Fort Kochi stay

Very convenient location, 1 minute away from the Aspinwall House, with the nicest welcoming local team, this hostel is a great start to get to know the fort Kochi vibe. I was landed there in solo for the Biennale and made friends very easily through the hostel. Very affordable price for AC room too. Thanks guys

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale

I came to Fort Kochi to learn about the amazing history that brings out the uniqueness of this area. I decided to stay in this hostel because of its history too. I met Chia, Allen and the Afro man who introduced me to the Biennale and assisted me when ever I asked them to. They got me cheaper transportation and suggested the places I can go to just indulge myself in art to find inspiration. It's not the best place out there. But with the new management they are improving. When I complained about the shower they fixed it by the time I was back in my room. They had even replaced the staff hired for house keeping when a few of the guests staying there repeatedly complained about dirty toilets and unchanged sheets. So these people are pretty responsive and open for suggestions. The floor gets dusty all the time as it's just next to the road. The breakfast is decent and they have dosa or idly every day. Wi-Fi is good but in some areas the signal is weak. Beds are comfortable and you can sleep with complete silence in this area. You can hang around in the common area with your roommates or these three boys playing board games or just reading a book in the books coner. I'd definitely go back to this place.
