Peace, Nature & Warm Smiles at Spice Village
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spice Village for 4 nights. From the smooth reservation process to the warm welcome at check-in, everything was handled beautifully. The entire team made us feel truly at home with their hospitality and care.

A garden enclave you don't want to leave
We had a chalet and stayed for 3 nights which felt as if we were in the wild with the bird song and animal calls around us. The hotel offers entertainment at night and free yoga classes with a lovely yoga teacher Ganagarani who adapts her class to cope with all levels. We ate at the hotel all the time, there is a Tea Station in the garden that is complimentary and evokes a nice scene. The buffet breakfast is vast with live stations and good food and very friendly and helpful waiters. There is a dinner buffet too that is reasonably priced and several types of cuisines are offered. We enjoyed both, the A la carte dinner menu and one night of the buffet. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel has the Forestry Dept in their building so we were able to book our tours to the Periyar Tiger Reserve from there. We could have stayed in the hotel all the time and enjoyed the gardens, the room and the food, there was no need to go out.

A Peaceful Nature Retreat with Great Hospitality
We had a truly enjoyable stay at CGH Earth Spice Village. What stood out immediately was the beautiful natural setting and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. The resort blends seamlessly with its surroundings and genuinely reflects its commitment to sustainability.
One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the morning yoga session. Practising yoga amidst nature was incredibly peaceful and calming, and it was a wonderful way to start the day.
The hospitality was excellent. Every member of the staff we interacted with was warm, cheerful, and eager to help. A special mention to Anoop from the Front Office, who helped us arrange tickets for the Kalaripayattu show. His assistance was greatly appreciated.
The only suggestion I would have is to expand the vegetarian options at the 50 Mile Restaurant. The food was enjoyable, but a little more variety for vegetarians would make the dining experience even better.
A big thank you to the entire CGH Earth Spice Village team for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would be happy to return.

Charming hotel with ecological philosophy
The rooms are comfortable bungalows, in a rustic and simple style, very much in line with the ecological philosophy of the place. All thinking about caring for the environment: separation from garbage, alternative energies, restaurant 50 miles. We ate several times in the restaurant, very good options for both Indian and Western food. Breakfast buffet with a variety of everything from pastries, fruits, juices, eggs, very good. The staff very friendly, helpful, lovely, from the reception people to those who served us at lunchtime.

A peaceful stay
I recently stayed at Spice Village and had a very pleasant experience. The place is peaceful and surrounded by nature, which made us feel very relaxed. The cottages were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed in a traditional style. The food in the 50miles restaurant was also very tasty with good variety but slow service. The staff were kind, polite, and always helpful, especially Mr.Jebin. When I needed it, the hotel thoughtfully provided a sanitary pad in a clean, hygienic disposable cover, which felt very comfortable to use. Overall, I felt relaxed my stay and would happily recommend it to others looking for a calm and beautiful getaway.
