Lovely stay
Excellent stay with my family having two elderly persons. Very cordial and helpful staffs, sumptuous food, nice location filled our stay in Morjim with comfort and leisure.

Misleading Property & Poor Service for the Price
We visited LaRiSa Resort Morjim with family expecting a premium experience based on the photos and pricing, but honestly it was very disappointing.
The biggest issue is that the property is divided into two sections. One side is on the beach while the other is behind the beach road and hidden behind multiple other properties. This is not clearly communicated while booking, so the actual experience feels very different from the photos shown online.
Rooms were average and lacked even basic amenities like a fridge , which is shocking considering Goa’s summer weather and the ₹7,500+ room tariff. TV is available, but no fridge in the room makes no sense at this price point.
Restaurant service was extremely slow. It took around 45 minutes just to take our order, and we later found out the restaurant fridge was also not working properly. Staff behavior and professionalism were also below expectations.
WiFi barely worked, Jio network coverage was very weak, and overall the resort did not justify the premium pricing. In this budget, there are many better 3-star resorts available in Morjim and other parts of Goa offering much better amenities and hospitality.
I have been traveling to Goa for the last 18 years and this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences. As a resort owner myself, I rarely post negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this honestly so other travelers can make an informed decision before booking.

Good resort near to beach
Great experience. Room was great. Location was very close to beach so really convenient. Only downside was the breakfast- very limited options, and whatever options were available were not tasty.
Staff is very courteous and helpful. Swimming pool was nice as well. Basic amenities on point. It would be better if an mini bar fridge is provided in rooms.

Great location. Needs desperate renovations and a proper restaurant
Great location. But no restaurant. They dont even have a coffee machine and bathroom is very run down. We asked for wine glasses and they didn’t even have that. Noisy bars around so dont expect quiet solitude. The staff and bath tub were exceptionally good though

Fake pictures, poor service, misleading details and poor property.
Our stay at La Risa Resort was one of the worst hospitality experiences we have had. The property is severely misrepresented online and feels like a complete scam for the price being charged.
Misleading Photos & False Description
The pictures shown online are highly misleading. The property looks far better in photos than it actually is. One of the biggest misrepresentations is regarding beach access — there is no direct beach access as suggested. If you are booking this place expecting beachfront convenience, you will be disappointed.
Unsafe & Noisy Environment
The surroundings do not feel secure or peaceful. The property is extremely noisy, especially at night, making it impossible to relax or sleep properly. This is the opposite of what most people look for in Morjim.
Rooms in Very Poor Condition
The rooms are badly maintained and in poor shape. The infrastructure feels old and neglected.
Bathroom fittings are cheap, damaged, and poorly maintained.
Cleanliness standards are unacceptable.
Bed linens were dirty and did not feel fresh.
Overall hygiene and upkeep are below basic hospitality standards.
For the premium price they are charging, the condition of the rooms is completely unjustified.
Unprofessional & Rude Management
The most frustrating part was the way the situation was handled by the staff and management.
Initially, the hotel staff confirmed our cancellation. Later, the reservation team denied any such confirmation and casually responded with, “No, who confirmed?” This clearly shows a complete lack of coordination and accountability within the team.
The reservation staff does not know how to communicate professionally with guests. Instead of resolving issues, they were dismissive and unhelpful. To make matters worse, the owners themselves were rude and showed no interest in addressing concerns.
Not Worth the Money
This property is massively overpriced for what it offers. The condition, service quality, and overall experience do not justify the excessive rates being charged. There are far better and more honest options in Morjim at similar or lower prices.
Final Verdict:
Misleading marketing, poor maintenance, dirty linens, unprofessional staff, rude management, and zero value for money. I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere.
