Amezing stay

Excellent
Had nice stay, very nice place. Nice staff. Expecting different break fast and some sea foods in dinner. Stay was excellent Worth for money. Mattupetty At the height of more than 5000 ft, the scenic beauty of the dam ‘Mattupetty’ (Dist: Idukki, Kerala) has an equal decorative frame of the thriving tea plantation, tall trees and blue Munnar hills. It is about 15 kms from the illustrious Munnar hilltop. The water here is stored for hydroelectricity project

Poor experience....Not recommended

Poor experience.... manipulative receptionist and General manager. Just want to rip off guests money by putting some unnecessary hidden charges during check out. We talked to their General Manager, she also wanted extra money. We were given assurance drop off to bus stand during check out, which they completely denied during checkout. Had a wicked smile on their face as if they won against you after ripping off you of your money.
My personal view : Since, they don't stick to their conditions/conduct rules, so it may not be even safe to leave your belongings in your room because they don't believe in serving guest, but just money.
I would say there are ample of hotels which are worth living considering visiting a place like Munnar(heaven in itself), but this hotel might waste your trip and peace of mind.
Don't book this hotel, not at all recommend.

Pathetic room maintenance and indifferent staff behaviour

I don't usually leave any bad online reviews for any service, but this experience is pathetic. Spoiled the whole vacation mood. They gave us soiled and dirty linen and no toiletries were provided. The request to change linen was even rejected by that hotel staff. I didn't ask for a room change or demanded any unreasonable service. Providing a clean bedsheet and cover is a basic thing a hotel should have. But that staff was acting like they let us stay for free. pathetic Don't book. There are cheap and nice hotels around that area with good service. Believe me, don't book this hotel. I have booked for three days and paid in advance. After reaching and seeing the room I immediately canceled it and still, haven't got my refund.

The worst behavior from the property I had ever seen in my life

Please never ever seen a worst property such rude to the customers. Don't know which world they leave where the customer is King. They have denied the booking for the dispute with their third party. They had literally fooling with us. In spite of us paying to bear the extra money. Such a worst behavior and rude behaviour

Hold your bath -- there is hot water only for 2 hours a day.. Insane

I have checked in at OYO 19980 Emmel Dwellings - Today -- ( Check in 15 Wednesday 2019 - Check out 17 Friday 2019 )
I am surprised to know that the hot water facility for bathing is available 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening ..
1 : Should the guest hold they bathing until the hotel decides when to let the hot - water..
2 : I have attached the screenshot from OYO as well the Makemytrip and none mentioned that the hot-water is available only for 2 hours in the evening and morning .. has it been mentioned I would have not booked this hotel by paying a premium price.
3 : When I called the reception, the hotel person is saying that they have informed the obligation to OYO and they cannot do any thing.
4 : They are saying that I have made the booking through the Make My Trip Website and they cannot do any thing and it is a third party booking site which they do not have control..
5 : I made the booking through the Makemy trip and no where in the website it is mentioned.. and Make My trip is my principle contracting body to answer my queries on why such a cheat is being done or entertained.
6 : OYO why don't you mention it properly in your website on the facility available clearly ..
Important : where ever I have stayed, the hotel use to offer one free water bottle per day, seems here they do not have any free water bottle and it is has to be paid .., I never heard this before.. such a worst hotel .. where there is no hot water and they is no towel in the bathroom, no soap , no drinking water facility .. and I really don't understand why would the guest pay the premium - while no such facility are offered.. and it has to be explicitly called out in the website.
