Out of this world experience!

Having been a Marriott and Taj member for over a decade now, it was unimaginable for me to be so totally blown away by the most incredible place I’ve stayed at (with the exception of the Khyber at Gulmarg)
The rooms were amazing and the architecture was incredible, the restaurant impeccable, the chef Dhanraj exceptional, and the resort manager Teji Singh a wonderful host , with whom we had a lovely and meaningful conversation too.
Please dint miss this place if you’re near Manali. And do visit the Nicholas Roerich villa and museum nearby !

Hundreds of houseflies in kitchen and restaurant area

I went for one night stay with my family after noticing that the Taj authorities have recommended this property and overall reviews are good but we noted hundreds of houseflies in restaurant and kitchen. The answer we got from restaurant incharge and head of operations that it is apple season. There was no air curtain, no air conditioner, only one small insect killer in one corner of a large restaurant hall and open door. I was not convinced with the answer and insisted on talking to the owner. Miss Palak discussed with me on phone but she also gave the same excuse that it is apple season. Actually this was a gross negligence at the par of management and this property should not be there on the online booking agencies . Hygiene in kitchen and dining area is a basic requirement which needs to be considered first before beautification of walls and architecture. Authorities must confirm the level of current hygiene standards before ascertaining the price of the property. When one is charged 23 k and 15 k for each room one thinks that basic hygiene and cleanliness will be there. But Miss Palak Tod me that pricing is not controlled by her and she is already doing her best for the problem of flies.

Room was good, Services and food was truly 5 star.
Road leading to this property is bit damaged but manageable.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Tree of Life, Kullu was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the team made us feel completely at home. The food was outstanding—thoughtfully curated, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, attentive yet effortless.
The rooms deserve a special mention—modern, elegant, and extremely comfortable, offering the perfect balance of luxury and calm amidst the mountains.
A big thumbs up to the F&B team for creating a one-of-a-kind breakfast experience. Special appreciation to the chef for the creativity and finesse, and to Arush from the team for the personal touch and seamless service that made every meal memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined stay with exceptional hospitality in Kullu.
