I'm happy to hear that your family had a great time at Hotel Brown Palace! The location was perfect, right next to Dal Lake with beautiful green mountains in the background. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We regret to hear that your recent stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciate all comments, as they help us continually improve our services.
You are absolutuely right that we had a function that day which hampered our services to some extent,but it doesn't mean at all that we left our guests totally unattended.Your booking was for NON AC room,at the time of check in when you entered to the alloted room you asked for AC room which we politely answered was unavailable. Had there been any issue with the washroom as you have mentioned you would have certainly brought that to our notice instantly.
We sincerely apologize for the discomfort you have experienced but can't take baseless allegations.

It is indeed very unfortunate that how I listened to your requests and booked 2 rooms in Houseboat and how you are paying back.Let us go in details what exactly happened and read answer to your false allegations. You asked for Houseboat accommodation for 1 night and I suggested you the same ,only after your satisfaction and consent an advance of 1k was made for 2 rooms @7500 including breakfast.You had two days to check it online and book at your will .Upon check in you stayed for approx 2 hours and left that place citing your infant us scared of water.As it is an unusual cancellation Houseboat management were reluctant to provide any ease and asked for full retention. Then you came to me and pleaded that I am running low on budget and pleaded that full payment isn't affordable. I requested them on your behalf and they agreed for further 3500.How can you write that fictional story and misguide others .

Excellent hotel with delicious food and beautiful view.
The staff are very professional kind and caring and the food is just amazing.
The hotel provides hot water round the clock and is very beautifully designed with wood finish giving it a rich look.
The rooms are spacious and quite clean and I had a good experience at this hotel overall.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and the food was especially good.

Pathetic Stay!
We stayed there in June 2023.We had elderly family mwmbers and toddler..
Only good thing about this unit is location and beautiful lawn
Rests are awfully poor.
.Rooms are shabby..damp..They do not even provide bathroom kit, kettle, tea bags..
Worst Breakfast.
No option for customise your lunch and dinner except their prefixed buffet menu. Food Menu are horribly bad..
They do not even bother to provide customised foos opition for toddler.
Hotel management doest even know what service means..and reluctant to modify based on custmer feedback.
Not at all advisable .
