Go for it.....
Owner of hotel is very good and kind person.....staff is also so supportive....very nice and good located hotel with good hospitality service.....very clean and hygenic kitchen.....

Looks great but looks can be deceiving.
The location is remote so you need a car/driver/tour.
Rooms clean, bright but no outlook from our rooms. I believe other rooms have good views so that was disappointing to find out. Also rooms open onto an open stairwell and because it is all marble tiles the noise is something else especially with kids. Inside the room it was not as noticable. The only way we could get hot water to shower was to ask reception to turn it on and then wait 30 minutes for it to heat up.
The rooftop has great views of one of the lakes of Udaipur. This is where the pool and breakfast room/restaurant are located. The pool was small which is ok but it was so unclean that we did not use it which was disappointing given the temperature this time of year is around 40C. Breakfast was very basic - both Indian and European options very limited. We had dinner here one night and is was just awful. We tired the food but ate a small amount and left. Luckily we had a few snacks in our room. It didn't help that we only speak English but restaurant staff don't.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Easily the best place to stay in Udaipur
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with flowers, a thoughtful touch that truly brightened our day. The rooms were impeccably clean, including the bathroom and toilet, which stood out compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
The food was delicious, and the service was even better. The receptionist who welcomed us (featured in a photo with us) went above and beyond, especially during breakfast. He stayed in the restaurant to ensure we had everything we needed—a level of attentiveness we deeply appreciated.
The hotel’s location is slightly away from the city center, making it incredibly peaceful. The tranquility is so remarkable that you wouldn’t believe you’re in bustling Udaipur.
Indra Niwas provided such a wonderful experience that we almost forgot the nightmare we endured the night before. Without a doubt, I’d love to stay here again!

recommended to affordable price
Unfortunately other guests left doors open and was noisy until midnight - on the other hand renovating startet at 5:30.
Anyhow, if you want to spend some time in Udaipur it is the right place
