The stay was relaxing and memorable, with exceptional hospitality that made us feel at home.
We recently stayed at Vythiri Mist Resort for our babymoon, and the experience was truly wonderful and memorable. The entire stay was enjoyable, relaxing, and perfect for such a special occasion for me and my wife.
The hospitality of the staff was exceptional — we genuinely felt like we had come to our second home. A special thanks to Mrs. Vismaya from the Guest Services team who showed us our room and patiently explained everything in detail. Mr. Vivek also gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived.
I would also like to appreciate the restaurant team, especially Mr. Ajesh and the serving staff Majmoon, Aswathy, and Vismaya, who took great care of us and made our dining experience very pleasant.
Overall, our experience was fantastic. The resort offers beautiful views of Wayanad and even has trekking packages for guests who enjoy nature and adventure. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Wayanad.
We will definitely come back again, next time with our full family!

Probable misplacement of jewellery during housekeeping
Unfortunately we had a terrible last minute experience of probable theft of jewellery during housekeeping.
The stay was very beautiful, restaurant and all staff seemed very warm and nice. I visited the hotel for 3 days 2 nights in presidential suite room number 105. Everything was going well, till the night before checkout.
The room cleaning staff (3 of them) came around 5:30-6pm. We waited for some time and then thought to get some tea in hotel’s restaurant and left the housekeeping staffs to complete their work. Just before leaving I opened my necklace (a gold plated one) on the dresser open, everything else was in boxes or pouches. We certainly remember because while leaving the room my husband even pointed that you have kept it open, I was like its okay (basic trust when you stay in good hotels).
At night when I started packing up, I found that necklace missing. We first searched every possible corner, hoping housekeeping might have kept it somewhere (given the fact the staff touched all my makeup items and other items on dresser).
When we still couldnt find, we informed the hotel manager. They came after some time, searched the room thoroughly again, searched everywhere - nothing found. They even said may be “rats” took it.
The next step was police complaint, and we ddnt want to go into that and requested that we wanted to meet the 3 house keeping staff next day when we checkout and that was promised by the manager.
To our utter suprise, the next day at checkout neither the manager came to meet us, nor there were the staffs we requested rather the reception person persuaded we write a statement that we dont have any issue with what happened. We created a fuss but of no help.
We had to leave as rains were increasing so thought -no point wasting time. But we are genuinely taken aback. I don’t have any proof of theft but I don’t see any other logical explanation of anything otherwise.
If you are booking this hotel, my request would be please dont leave your belongings open while room cleaning. I am a member of multiple 5-star hotels and travel very often. This was a very shocking experience for us and that negated all the good part of the stay.

A massive shoutout goes to Albin, who provided a level of personalized care that is rare to find. He didn't just meet our expectations; he consistently anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was ensuring our comfort or offering thoughtful suggestions to enhance our experience, Albin’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly special. He is a standout asset to the resort!
Immersive Nature and Breathtaking Views
The location is absolutely spectacular:
* Lush Panorama: Both our room and the restaurant offered incredible, sweeping views of the greenery. Waking up to that mist-covered forest felt like living in a dream.
* Wildlife & Nature: We were lucky enough to have some magical deer sightings right on the property!
* Tea Plantation Proximity: The resort is perfectly situated near sprawling tea plantations, making it easy to take a scenic stroll and soak in the quintessential Wayanad atmosphere.

AWESOME
Vythiri Mist exceeded expectations in every way. The standout feature is their exceptional hospitality—staff are attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist, making the stay effortless from check-in to check-out. A special mention to Mr. Krishna Raj, whose warm attitude, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality made the experience even more memorable.
Everything you may need is thoughtfully arranged and easily accessible, so there is never any inconvenience.
The property has a wonderful atmosphere, and even during summer the climate and surroundings feel refreshing and relaxing. The restaurant deserves special mention for its elegant ambience and impressive food quality, both of which add greatly to the experience.
Rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The overall cleanliness of the entire property was commendable, and the resort successfully blends a natural forest-like setting with the comfort and facilities expected from a quality 4-star stay.
The only minor area for improvement would be some upkeep in the pool and children’s play area, though it does little to affect the overall experience.
