Excellent holiday stay

I did only stay for two nights at this property during a cycling holiday in the Alps but could have stayed much longer as the spacious cosy rooms with large balcony and nice views overlooking the village and mountains and the central location right at some nice hiking trails had been really wonderful. I could store my bike safely in the bicycle room and whole house felt cosy as well with a lot of wood which gives it a welcoming touch and feel. The breakfast had been very good as well and the service unobtrusive yet friendly and warm.

Top notch

The hotel is up the hill off the main road and has spectacular views of the mountains. The outdoor patio is a heavenly place to enjoy the scenery and the food, which was very good. Lothar was so helpful. Thank you. There is somewhat limited parking and no lift, but other things make up for this.

I felt like a king

Stay was very comfortable and rooms were very clean, stuff was very hepful and kind.
View was very nice and food good. I liked that stuff gives a lot of privacy to their guests as well as lot of information if needed.

Excellent hospitality, food and accommodation

Our second year at Alpenrose for a combination of skiing and snow shoe walking in this winter wonderland village at almost 1500 metres. Also for winter path walking in the St Gallenkirch/Gaschurn valley below. Spectacular views from our balcony for sunrise and sunset. Agnes and Lothar are great hosts supported by excellent staff. Important to know that Lothar has an amazing snow jeep to bring you and your luggage up and down from the road to the house!! Just give a call from the garage at the bottom.

Very warm welcome given to our party, lovely outlook and nice food.

We stayed in this hotel when we went to Gargellen for a weeks skiing with 3 other families including 5 young children. The host was very hospitable and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, all with views and balconies. There was a steam room, sauna and relaxing room, all clean, tidy and modern. I beleive the hotel had a major refurbishment 3 years ago. The food was lovely, we had a set menu of 5 courses each evening although the children were able to have another option. The house wine was good and 1 litre bottles, priced at Euro15, we thought very reasonable. A 5 to 10 min walk to the ski lift, where you can leave boots + skis, was easy going and no hardship.
