Small but fine

This country hotel is first of all well located and if you drive on the main road towards Salzburg by car very visible. You can't miss it. Parking lots available. The infrastructure of this hotel Gschirnwirt is very well constructed and organized. There is a vitality centre with a swimming pool and a thermal area with various sauna and steam bath on the lower floors and in the upper area is the solarium and a relaxation room. Unfortunately, this relaxation room is not separate and is open. Therefore, unfortunately, there is often a noise disturbance when the swimming pool is occupied and talked to by the guests. The room is hollow and when you talk there is an echo effect. Personally, it didn't bother me. When asked about this, the staff are aware and they are planning to take precautions to solve this problem soon. In the basement room there is a gym and a massage room.
As far as service and service in the restaurant is concerned, you will be spoiled.
Rooms are very clean and are cleaned every morning. As a guest, you even get a free ticket for the bus and are valid for the entire duration of your stay at this hotel. This saves you your car to drive to the next village Eugendorf or city Salzburg and also makes it easier for you to properly visit the cities without thinking about it. The bus stop is just 50 metres from this hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and eating in the restaurant I feel a treat. If you are planning to realize your health in Austria cost-effectively with fitness and sauna with without great expectations, here is the right address. I can only recommend it. My length of stay 2 weeks.

Super great and pleasant stay!

Great well maintained hotel, good extensive breakfast and restaurant food, very private and cozy atmosphere. You are always asked if everything fits and if not already one is running!
Will book my business trips exclusively here, was there 2 times, can still after the appointments a little wellnesss in the house everything available Sauna pool bathrobe towels etc...Can only recommend -Super nice....

Golf outing at its finest

The warmth at the reception and during the entire holiday cannot be surpassed. Friendly and courteous staff make a stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner (5 and 7 courses) are worth a stay, you don't often get such first-class food. The rooms, guest rooms and spa/pool area also deserve 5 stars from us. The golf trips were so well organized, everything went really well. Many thanks to the Schinagl family and team, we will be back and are already looking forward to it.

Relaxing stay

Familiarity and Professionalism...good restaurant, clean and comfortable rooms, nice SPA in an healthy environment.
The position, not far from Industrial areas and quite close to Salzburg make this place the right balance between nature, history and work....

Relaxing stay

Relaxing stay in a typical Austrian Gasthof. Familiar ambient and really nice person at Reception. I booked through "booking" but they provided, free of charge, an upgrade in a fantastic apartment. The SPA also with internal swimming pool and garden with "chaise longue" complete the experience.
