Alpenromantik-Hotel Wirlerhof is located directly at the valley station of the Birkhahn chairlift in the Silvretta-Galtür ski area. A cable car and a ski school are directly opposite the hotel.

Excellent Hotel
Lift pass office and ski rental shop are next door.
Wellness area was beautiful. Naked saunas just in case you were wondering but there is a sauna on the poolside where you can keep your swim costume on.
Our room was spacious with plenty of storage.
The hotel is VERY warm so take clothes that give you options. We turned our radiators to minimum and left window slightly ajar.
Food - delicious. Couldn’t fault breakfast or dinner.
Staff and the owner were friendly and welcoming. The service was good.
Ski room had boot warmers and was easily accessible. They had a few sledges for the children to use.
Great little Apres ski bar attached to the hotel but unless you are in it, you don’t hear any noise.
All in all, this is a beautiful hotel and well worth returning to.

Best Value for Award that we'll have trouble finding elsewhere.
This is a 4 star Inn that I recommend for its hospitality, cuisine worthy of gastronomy, impeccable cleanliness, staff of great professionalism and of course the beauty of its wellness and other renovations dating from the beginning of the year. A value for Award that you can't find anywhere else. We had another wonderful stay and can't wait to return

Unfriendly staff, substandard food, but okay accommodation

Location, location, location, but...
The restaurant is very large and the seating is rather cramped. We were lucky to have a large table, but also with a view of the car park...
The family room was great. Large, comfortable, good quality. The food was good, the service friendly.
The wellness area is getting old, the swimming pool is OK, but needs a bit of a refresh. Sauna area OK, rather standard.
Unfortunately, you don't notice any owners or managers. The reception was not very helpful in terms of expertise.
The location counts here... but you don't have to book here for reasons of comfort, perceived management or wellness.

Great family holiday
The cleaners for the bedrooms were great and they were friendly and helpful as were the staff serving in the dining rooms. The one exception to the friendly and welcoming attitude was at the reception desk where there was a lack of smiling. Even when we were paying our final bill and we highlighted a lunch which had been omitted from the bill there was a lack of warmth from the person on the other side of the desk.
