Very disappointing
hotel Linde Maria Wörth & Portofino Velden, this dinner was old-fashioned, nothing special (no innovation whatsoever) and Euro 200 for very bad and sad food. A view isn't everything - the spark is missing

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, uns Ihr Feedback zu einem so besonderen Anlass wie Ihrem 13. Jubiläum mitzuteilen. Es tut uns von Herzen leid, dass wir diesen wichtigen Abend nicht so gestalten konnten, wie Sie es sich – und wie auch wir es uns – gewünscht hätten.
Dass der Tafelspitz zu trocken war und das Schnitzel Sie nicht vollends überzeugen konnte, nehmen wir sehr ernst und geben dieses Feedback direkt an unsere Küche weiter. Auch der servierte Wein sollte selbstverständlich in der richtigen Temperatur bei Ihnen ankommen. Es freut uns zu lesen, dass unsere Praktikanten Sie mit ihrer Freundlichkeit überzeugen konnten. Jungen Menschen und Nachwuchs-Touristikern die Möglichkeit zu bieten, in einem professionellen Umfeld Erfahrung zu sammeln, ist für uns eine Kernaufgabe und ein persönliches Anliegen.
Zum Thema Innovation möchten wir dennoch kurz Stellung nehmen: Neben den klassischen Gerichten bieten wir bewusst auch eine Auswahl an erfrischenden Speisen mit asiatischer Note sowie eine reichhaltige Fischtheke, bestückt mit ganzen Fischen aus Fluss, See und Meer sowie Meeresfrüchten. Sollten Sie bei Ihrer Wahl eher zu den traditionellen Klassikern gegriffen haben, laden wir Sie herzlich ein, bei einem nächsten Besuch auch diese Seite unserer Küche kennenzulernen. Elegance with soul
like:
- rich Christmas and New Year's decorations - inside and outside of the hotel
- very good organization od New year Eve. We get top table near windows, view to lake
- kitchen there ( Chef!) is on very high level - variety of flavors, ingredients, also long wine list
- restaurant Maitre D, nice Italian, run his team very professionally
- when you enter the hotel, Front Office / Reception - you get right informations from staff with smile
- rooms and wellnes area completely renovated, nice art
dislike:
- just general info about sauna rooms, when you enter concrete sauna you dont know about temperature and humidity there - no info near doors
