Top ski week with wellness and culinary delights

The four of us had a wonderful week of skiing. The ski area was a dream with over 200km of slopes.
The evening in this family-run hotel, ending the day of skiing with coffee and cake and then a wellness treatment was pure relaxation.
There is nothing to complain about at dinner and breakfast. A rich salt buffet, all fresh, and then a 3-course meal.
Staying overnight in the beautifully furnished rooms was also a pleasure. If you can't sleep, it's because of the peace and quiet, which we are no longer used to.
I can highly recommend this hotel.

Cancellation by hotel

Our reservation was suddenly cancelled after paying a down payment for two rooms in February.
We requested an offer for two rooms in February. Turns out that the staff was unable to read our request correctly booking us rooms in January.
We confirmed our booking for February and paid the down payment to secure the room as requested.
Once we received the confirmation we flagged the incorrect date which resulted in a sudden cancellation of our booking and several non apologetic responses from the owner on the phone, who suggesting that the booking in January was still available otherwise we should pay an additional €700 for the week in February.
We highlighted that it was his failure and that our communication had been very clear throughout whilst their management was insufficient.
We ended up cancelling our booking after loosing alternative reservations we had cancelled following our deposit payment.

Perfect family skiing trip

We recently came back from a fabulous trip at the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski resort where we stayed in Hotel Puint in Ladis. The hotel itself is lovely. We stayed half board and thought the food was excellent. Our seven-year-old particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that he could have cake that early in the day! We had a comfort double, which was perfect for the three of us. While it isn't ski-in ski-out there is a very regular shuttle that takes you to the slopes in less than ten minutes. The Wellness area is very good and much needed after a day on the slopes. We can't fault the hotel in any way - the management was particularly helpful in providing plugs for our mobiles as that was the one thing we left back in the UK. While the staff don't all speak English (and we absolutely didn't expect them too) they were very friendly and tried to understand us as much as they could. This is a very family friendly hotel and would recommend if you have children.

Excellent food and staff in the dinning room

Food is well above the average Austrian fayre served in hotels. A good choice on the menu each night, each selection carefully presented without being mucked about with too much. Afternoon cakes available, drinks extra. Note for the evening meal, tap water has a nominal charge for a large 1 litre carafe.
Room well equipped with plenty of hooks for ski clothing and storage for other kit.
We were supplied with a key to a ski storage depot by the lift to save carrying skis boots etc between the hotel and the lift station, though this hardly matters when the free local ski bus stops outside the hotel.
English language in short supply at reception but rest of the staff have a good command and fluency of English + multiple other languages.
Place was spotlessly clean.
