TO BE AVOIDED

Hotel located in Maria Taferl, on the Danube.Old furniture, rude staff, not welcoming environment, bad breakfast

Next time we will try the food

Living in the near for 5 years and always we get the chance we come to this lovely village to see the Basilica and to enjoy the best icecream in the area but we never get to go to this lovely establishment .We got that chance today as it was incredibly warm and sunny and we decided to have a coffee on the top of the world .What a good decission .We asked the waiter if we could use the terrace as we were the only table there unfortunatelly and we has two lovely coffees and our baby boy had hunger so we ordered a nice bowl of soup which came very fast and was delightfull.Next time we will try the menu as today we were in a bit of a rush but looking at the menu a la carte it looks appetising for sure for next time .Totally romantic terrace with breathtaking views .Must try .Thank you staff for allowing us to enjoy your terrace .We will come back .Greatings from the czech- romanian couple and the baby .

Family atmosphere

A good old hotel as then, not a soulless interchangeable chain hotel with standard furnishings but individual with family charm. We felt very well received here, our room was impeccable and we especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. But also the restaurant, the staff, the breakfast and the location convinced us

The view from the dining room is enchanting

Hotel with a decidedly ancient part and a more modern addition. The receptionist was kind, the room was small but essential, with a small balcony from which you can glimpse the Danube. Good dinner, with an excellent dessert. Abundant, good and varied breakfast.
