Surrounded by mountain meadows and forests, the Rosenhof offers spacious, exclusively furnished rooms with a balcony and mountain views. It is located in Mittelberg at the end of the Kleinwalsertal Valley.

Top location with all facilties
We had a nice stay in Rosenhof. A nice famy hotel with all facilities. Rooms are good with enough space. For your skies or ski booth are nice warm made. Breakfast bufet and diner are very good. Lunch we didn't use so much and home made cakes are always very nice at 15.30. Also for Skiening was nice for 3 or 4 day's. We like to come back next year.

Rosenhof - switch off from everyday life made easy
We have been spending our holidays at Rosenhof for over 10 years. The Rosenhof team is very friendly, attentive and family friendly. The double rooms we could get to know are spacious, tastefully decorated and easy to feel good about. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, the daily offer (lunch snack, cake, afternoon snack) we have rarely used due to absence in the day, but if we were there - just delicious. For dinner there is a choice of 3 dishes, mostly vegetarian or vegan, meat and fish, so there is something for everyone. Plus salad buffet, starter, dessert and delicious cheese buffet.
To the surroundings: a car is really not required here and usually parks until departure. Thanks to Göstekarte, the Walserbus can be used free of charge, so you can simply start walking and possibly then return by bus.
A stay at the Rosenhof is ideal to escape from everyday life.

Third time, last time
Not recommended. We had a wasp nest on our balcony so we could no longer open our window and it became very warm in the apartment. Supposedly nothing could be done about it because wasps were said to be protected in Austria. This is nonsense of course: wasp nests on a house can definitely be tackled. When we insisted on a solution, it was suddenly allowed and the hole was sprayed. The next day even more wasps. There was apparently no room left available. When we insisted, suddenly it did. So we moved to another room for the last two nights (with less comfort; a kitchenette instead of a kitchen, no coffee maker, toaster, no wooden floor but carpet, and downright dirty, e.g. the radiator, switches, etc). Moreover, they would invite us for dinner (we had not booked dinner) that same evening or the evening after (they had yet to see about that). Then I heard nothing more about it... When I went to pay I asked about compensation. Ultimately they would drop the final cleaning fee (70 euros). We also did not have to pay for the "food we received from them", according to the woman at the reception. Even though we had not received an invitation to eat at all! This was the last time we stayed there. I never found the staff really friendly, but this closes the door. You shouldn't go to the swimming pool either because it is full of uneducated, screaming children, even out of season. It's also incredibly expensive (I'm guessing you pay for childcare, but if you don't have kids it's not recommended anyway). The only positives are the beautiful location, the beautiful apartments in the Bauernhaus and the dog-friendliness.

The Rosenhof - Ideal for families
In our opinion, the Rosenhof leaves nothing to be desired. It is centrally located, but still quiet and easily accessible after a short walk from the bus stop.
The warmth of the boss and her staff is unique. You are always surprised by special activities in the leisure area and in the catering - which is already special.
The care of the small children who are traveling with you and the opportunities for them to play are particularly rare. We (5 adults, 2 small children and a dog) were completely satisfied.

Heaven on Earth
Staying here was the most amazing experience I have ever had! The location was out of a fairytale. The people who work there were so kind and accommodating. The food was unforgettably amazing! There was hiking accessible and such a glorious spa to relax after. I have never been so welcomed and relaxed anywhere else in the world!
