Feels like the top of the world

The hotel is several kilometres away from Ternberg on slow narrow lanes but when you het there on a good day the views are extensive and great in all directions. There is nothing else here, this is your room, dinner and breakfast location. You can walk or if you are a mountain biker enjoy those trails and the National Park. The hosts have excellent English and are very helpful. Food good and rooms fine though I imagine it could get a little cold overnight. Note that dogs are allowed in the restaurant.

Wonderful, family-run Gasthof in beautiful location

We only spent a night at Gasthof Koglerhof, but wish we could have stayed longer.
Even though we arrived fairly late, we were welcomed warmly. We thought we would have to go to bed without dinner, but while the kitchen was indeed closed, we were offered various delicious options of cold cuts.
Our room was comfortable and had a little shared balcony overlooking beautiful hills. The setting is gorgeous, and there are various options for easy walks throughout the property.
Everything about this place was lovely - especially the family running it, everyone was incredibly friendly. I recommend it without hesitation.

Great Place

We were there, I booked last minute. The price was great. My grandparents were with us. Their room had a private terrace on which we could sit and eat.
The food in the restaurant is great. Farms, trees, livestock and mountains all around. Fresh air.
WIll be back.

Selten so Schlecht

Sind Gestern mit dem Rad von Mühlbach aus zum Koglerhof gefahren und wollten dort gemütlich ein Bier trinken und was essen. Zugegeben das Wetter war nicht hochsommerlich aber immerhin 20 grad und wir wollten im Freien sitzen. Das erste was wir hörten da gibt es keine Bedienung. Ok selber holen. Drinnen total unfreundlich und Arrogant das es eine ehre war das wir was zu Trinken bekommen.
Wollten noch ein Schnitzel essen das wir gerade noch mit bitten bekommen haben. So etwas habe ich noch selten erlebt. Und ein Kinderportion war es auch noch. Beim Bezahlen natürlich im Gasthaus da hat alles gepasst da war der Wirt schnell. Das Geld wollte er schon gleich haben. Keine Werbung werde den Koglerhof lange nicht mehr beehren. mfg Brandl Alfred

Consigliatissimo

Posizione fantastica in mezzo alla natura, é una pensione con ristorante, annessa alla fattoria con animali. Tranquillità massima ma nello stesso tempo con un quarto d'ora di auto si é a Steyr: posizione ideale per visitare Mathausen, Linz, Kremsmunster, St. Florian. Ottima cucina locale. Camera con bagno nuovissimo con doccia.
