Relaxing family stay with breathtaking balcony views
Check in is strictly from 3 pm but the process was smooth. Getting to Hallstatt was easy with ferry or bus. For bus remember the Obertraun Feriendorf stop which is right beside the hotel. Schiffstation for the ferry was behind the hotel. Ferries run every hour and you may buy a round trip ticket till 2:30 PM. The last ferry is 3 30 PM and is one way only.
Breakfast was very good, and staff kept everything moving smoothly.
I’m not sure why there are negative reviews here; our experience was overwhelmingly positive from start to finish.
For families visiting the area, this hotel is definitely a good choice. Highly recommend.

Wonderful staty!
The continental breakfast had awesome variety.
From train station Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen Bahnhof, it took nearly only 8 minutes to walk. The beautiful public beach of Obertraun is just 3 min walk from the hotel.

Best hotel with great view and food
Hotel provides a continental breakfast with a good selection of bakeries , salads, cereals, pancakes, eggs, fruits , yogurt ,cheese and ham, juice and coffee. Which is good enough for the morning energy.
Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. They will always there for your needs.
We spent 5 days there and we really enjoyed the stay. Specially I would like to mention that behind the hotel there is a small park with the beautiful Hallstatt lake that you never get enough of the view. There you can take the ferry ride to the Hallstatt city.
Finally I would say this is a hotel that you will recommend for anyone anytime.
Thank you dear hotel staff and management. Keep it up.

The location of the hotel is great, right next to the lake and the price was also very affordable.
I hope we can come back someday in the summer.
