Small, family house in a good location

Family run house with very good value for money. Clean, fine room with balcony. Halbpension top! Also flexible for special requests (gluten-free). Gondola stations within walking distance. Another plus, the room includes lockers in the ski depot with ski boot warmers and space for all equipment. Very clear recommendation!

Great hosts and everything newly renovated

Great hosts who make you feel welcome straight away and are happy to give tips. The breakfast includes everything you need in good quality and the newly renovated rooms are very nice and, above all, comfortable. The evening meal was also delicious and plentiful.

Really nice relaxed place

We, my husband, 2 kids and a dog spend one night in Haus Vilgrassa. Everything was perfect. The host were really kind and helpful. The kids could play in the garden. The room was really clean and had a cozy balcony. Warm recommodation to this place.

Nice place unless you run into their "overbooked" policy!

We had been here before so made a reservation for three double rooms directly with the accommodation more than two months in advance. All was confirmed by mail and down payment made. To our surprise upon arrival we were told that there was a "small" problem that only two rooms were available. As an alternative one couple of our group were to stay at an apartment in town, a short drive by car. After the other two couples had settled in their beautiful rooms the others came back to inform us about their experience. After reaching the apartment through a cigarette smoke infested stairway they were welcomed in a depressingly dark seventies interior with appalling bathroom (see photo). Apart from the lower standards and travelling by car to enjoy the sauna at Vilgrassa, having the group break up was a downer. The host of Vilgrassa said it was the only option available and she would compensate in some way. However, upon departure she only offered a discount of 14% and argued that this was more than she was legally obliged to do. Apparently making money is more important than customer satisfaction. In our humble opinion when you fail to deliver you should offer an at least similar but preferably better alternative. This was absolutely not the case.
