I reserved a room, and was traveling over a 3 hour drive to the hotel, however I was expected to arrive a little late, I tried calling the number advertised to notify them that I would arrive late, numerous times hours before my arrival. No one answered the phone. Once I arrived, no one was there, I tried calling again, and then upon checking the hotel policies on Hotels.com it stated that this hotel last check-in time is at 8pm and there is no after hour check in. There was no way to contact the hotel at all. I lost over $300 dollars, and I had to quickly find a new hotel to stay at, since I was traveling with my family with 2 younger children. I would not recommend this hotel to those that might be traveling long distances and might arrive late. Terrible customer service or communication, even when I tried to reach the hotel hours before 8pm.

Mould and old smell

Old and worn and clear signs of water damage. There was mold in our room and there smelled a lot of advice. The hot tub in the bathroom didn't work.
Bed linen and towels were moist and clam and the hotel lives in no way up to the 4 stars that we ran for.
The pool is very, very small.
Breakfast is boring and short interval (8-10)
When we arrived we took the wrong room number and went wrong, the key we got delivered, also matched to the neighboring room we found out, which was extremely unsafe and unprofessional.
We had booked three nights, arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning due to the above and symptoms from the airways.
The man at the front desk threatened that it would have consequences if we gave them a bad review, so it is written herein, stay away from here and go to Krumers Alpin instead, there you will not be disappointed.
Shouldn't be allowed to be 4 star, max 2.

Worst experience

I booked hotel in July 25 for 31.10-02.11 by booking.
Then in July I call the hotel again and ask if everything is okay. Receptionist convinces me that yes sure, we can come on 31.10.. 3 days ago I called Booking and the woman on the phone convinced me that everything will be great, the Hotel Vital Kaiserhof accommodates us and that I should not worry.
On 31.10 (arrival day) I get a call that yet hotel cannot accommodate us. I'm pregnant, my son has a severe disability, I'm Genius 3 Plus, we were already on our way to the train when I got such a stressful message. I then had to search a net to book the new hotel!
This can never happen, I was overnerved and could not recover well in the new hotel because I have never had so much stress.
I had to book super expensive hotel for my own money, and debit my bank account.
I'm very disappointed. Hands off the Hotel Vital Kaiserhof!!!

Don't book! You're here for a 'closed door'! Transferring is policy!

On arrival hotel appeared to be overbooked. Turns out it's policy. Turned out to be the sister hotel we were sent to.
