Perfect combination of friendly staff and price
A good family hotel with reasonable prices can be difficult to find in Vienna. But we found it at Bio-Hotel Schani!
We stayed there with 3 children in the "atelier" room, which most of all reminds us of our own large apartment. The hotel gave us the best starting point for good days in Vienna.
The rooms are clean and modern, and the bathroom is fantastic. But the best experience at the hotel was the staff! They were extremely helpful and accommodating to us and our needs!
The hotel is close to beautiful nature, while public transport got us easily into the city and back home when the children were too tired.
We will definitely choose this hotel again if we visit Vienna again.

Great hotel in the middle of greenery in Vienna
Beautiful location in the middle of nature with a great organic breakfast!
The rooms are newly renovated and clean. The mattress is really comfortable. There is also air conditioning.
All employees are highly motivated.
Relaxation despite a business trip.

Great hotel in a convenient location close to Vienna's beautiful countryside
This is an excellent hotel . The service is first class and the breakfast was varied and freshly prepared. There's a bus stop right outside the front door so that you can be at the Ottakring underground station within 10 minutes and in the city centre within half an hour. The beauty of this location is that you can visit the Vienna Woods and walk through the well laid out paths in the nearby country park. The hotel is family run and it shows! The guests are treated with genuine friendliness. The hotel has been fully refurbished since we stayed there some years ago. We booked the top floor apartment which was bright and spotlessly clean, as was the entire hotel.

Hotel in Vienna no good!
After reservation 1 month ago by internet we arrived in Vienna with my wife by car in Hotel Gallitzinberg (host by family)! Bad hotel without AC, without curtains or glass box in bath tub where the water coming out in the floor wetting all the bathroom, the internet is very bad with weak signal! The breakfast is medium quality and there is no elevator where you need pick up your luggages and take them upstairs to your room! The car parking is small and after 7:00pm you need put your car in the street! Be careful!

AC we do not have, as we try to safe our environment, but our hotel is located close to the wood and surrounded by our garden, so we do our best to keep rooms cool. It is also no problem to get a fan into your room.
Our breakfast is organic quality and we offer many individual dishes to fulfill every wish! If you are not happy - let us know, what your needs are, please!
We are sorry for having no elevator, but our staff is helpful and willing to help with your luggage at any time.
Our parking lot has 5 parking spaces, in case there is no free one, we offer parking tickets to park in front of the hotel all day. Vienna has strict regulations about parking, so we are glad to offer these options to our guests.
We would be very happy to get the chance making your stay a bit more comfortable!

Great destination outside the city center
Hotel Gallitzinberg was a nice destination for a citytrip to Vienna by car. Free parking is limited in the hotel parking, but a parking ticket for the quiet street in front of the hotel costs 4 euro’s, so that’s no problem. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was a bit expensive to our opinion, but there are a lot of bakeries in the city for a nice breakfast. Traveling to the city is easy; there is a busstop in front of the hotel. Tickets can be bought at the hotel desk and at the busstops/metrostations.
