My stay at Hotel Sendlhof in Waidring was a real feel-good experience from start to finish. As soon as you arrive, you feel that this house is run with a lot of love and that hospitality is not just a word, but is lived here. I was particularly impressed by the situation. The gondola lift is just a five-minute walk away – ideal if you want to hit the slopes in the morning without stress. Numerous excursion destinations are also in the immediate vicinity, so you have a wide range of activities in both winter and summer.
The hotel itself is superbly equipped and thoughtfully organized. The spacious underground car park is a real advantage, especially in wintry conditions. The ski cellar is modern, clean and offers enough space for equipment. I found it particularly practical that you get the ski pass directly at the reception – no queuing, no extra way, just relaxing start your holiday.
After an active day on the stone slab, the sauna quickly became my personal retreat. The warmth, tranquility and pleasant atmosphere ensure pure relaxation. Just what you want after a long day of skiing.
I was also impressed by the cuisine of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very rich and offers a wide selection of fresh and high-quality products. Whether you prefer to start your day light or hearty – everyone will find something here. If you book half board, you can look forward to a delicious 5-course menu in the evening, which is prepared with great love from regional ingredients. The dishes are varied, creative and excellently coordinated in taste. A real highlight of the day. Afterwards, the cosy hotel bar invites you to end the evening with an aperitif or a drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
My room was modern, spacious and decorated to a very high standard. Everything seemed harmonious, harmonious and designed with a fine sense of detail. I found the calm atmosphere and the excellent quality of sleep particularly pleasant. Also in all other areas of the hotel it is immediately noticeable how much importance is placed on cleanliness and care. Every room I entered was spotless – an important feel-good factor that adds value to the stay.
Overall, I felt completely comfortable at the Hotel Sendlhof. The combination of perfect location, thoughtful equipment, excellent cuisine and an atmosphere characterized by warmth and professionalism makes this house a place to return to. For me it was a holiday full of pleasure, relaxation and comfort – and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

The location is a dream: Only a few steps away from the gondola to the Steinplatte – perfect for skiers, hikers and anyone who loves the Tyrolean mountains.

Our second time in this lovely hotel.
Large, spotlessly clean room.
Friendly staff at all levels.
Delicious food.
Short walk to the ski lift.
Village has excellent access to the surrounding area.

1000% recommended ! Staff unbeatably friendly + courteous and excellent food
Simply wonderful 3 days spent at Hotel Sendlhof in Waidraing.
We arrived and were already greeted extremely friendly at the reception.
Very detailed and understanding explanation - then we went to our two wonderful rooms (very, very clean and huge with a dreamlike bed to sleep !).
After a tour at Pillersee, followed by a Coffee + strudel in the hotel restaurant on the terrace - also here: Again an extremely friendly + nice waiter !
In the evening we were spoiled by a fantastic meal (every course for us a poem !) - and again very, very lovingly spoiled by such friendly staff (here also the boss personally tackles).
Also at breakfast: Only friendly-smiling + hardworking staff.
Our conclusion:
Excellent food - and a caring, friendly staff - as we have never experienced it in this form (here must be an absolutely good working climate, because you can not play such a joy of work !).
Please dear management: Keep it up - for us four girls it was absolutely wonderful, unforgettable days with you.
And if it goes any way, then we will definitely come back !

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed directions and advice for our planned hikes and they made things easier for us.
