Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, great value. Friendly staff and decent, clean rooms. Breakfast was great with a variety of choices even for a fussy vegan. Great location for the train station and airport bus stop and only 15 minutes walk from the main town.

Non-existent services, no one at reception, no one who speaks English.
All automated both check in and out...so who do you interact with if you need towels or soaps?
They ask you to request the day before, by email, the cleaning of the room and toiletries... but if you do not speak Polish or English are problems... certainly not relaxing for a holiday.
the breakfast service is run by two ladies who do not speak English and present you with an unmodifiable menu without any sweet only savory product.
Horrible experience.. never happened in all our travels!escape

Beware of the city tax - must be paid in złoty, cash only

Decent hotel, however I'm docking two stars because of the city tax (3.31 złoty, less than 1 USD, per day) that must be paid on arrival in złoty, cash only. This caused me an enormous inconvenience since I was there only 1.5 days, and otherwise would not have needed any local cash, as the hotel was prepaid and credit cards are accepted everywhere. 95% of the ATMs in town are Euronet, which is known for its poor exchange rates and high surcharges (21+ złoty/withdrawal). Moreover, the minimum withdrawal is 50 złoty. In the end, I had to go to a money exchange in the old town to exchange 3 USD. To add insult to injury, the hotel didn't have change, so I ended up paying 10 złoty instead of 6.62. In 2025, it's hard to believe they put their international guests through this. Why don't they accept credit cards for the city tax, as other hotels do?
The property is located 1 km from the old town, in a reasonably quiet area. However, soundproofing is lacking and walls are quite thin. You definitely hear conversations in the hallway as if they were in your own room.
Small, clean room. Amenities included an electric kettle. No mini-fridge or safe. Well located power sockets. Well lit desk area.
Comfortable bed, although the linens had some small tears.
Bathroom with everything in working order. Good water pressure in the shower.
Decent wifi.
Price on the expensive side considering that breakfast was not included.

Outstanding hotel :)

Excellent stay from start to finish - arrived early but could check in straight away. The reception staff were so lovely - nothing was too much trouble - and the cleaning staff were great too. Breakfast was perfect - great variety of food for all tastes. Hotel was only about 10 mins walk from the Forum shopping centre and another 5 mins to the main street. We checked out on the last day but were able to leave our bags and come back later in the day to pick them up. The hotel is small - only 16 rooms - which we loved and we would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Gdansk. We ate at the Chinese over the road from the hotel one night - perfect.

Good, but lacks a refridgerator

I’m staying here for five nights right now, and i’m mostly satisfied. What I miss is a refridgerator coz it’s +30 degrees outside. The hotel is about 15min walk from the old city of Gdansk. Not very big, and quite cozy. Breakfast (included) is good, and the bed is good and spacious in my standard single room.
