Pleasant time-out

Very nice hotel, I spent a week here with half-board. Everything was very clean and pleasant. I found the lighting in the pool area too dark; it seemed almost a bit eerie. The treatments in the spa were good. The staff in the restaurant could not really distinguish whether a single table was still occupied when I went to get the next course at the buffet. It happened that things were cleared away, even though the cutlery and a book on the table clearly signaled that the table was still occupied. In the rooms, I would have expected TV reception of international news channels. However, there was only a large number of Polish channels and four commercial German channels of the lowest category, which are certainly not consumed by German customers in this "price range."

Thank you and goodbye

My son and I were at the SHUUM Hotel in Kołobrzeg for the second time already.
Upon our arrival, we were already warmly welcomed by Oliwia and Magdalena with a hug. Both were exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful at all times during our entire stay. We would like to thank these two wonderful ladies from the bottom of our hearts for that. ❤️❤️
My son and I visited the spa area daily. We were also excellently taken care of there. The lifeguard, Kristian, was always friendly, attentive, helpful, and extremely professional. You can tell that he does his job with a lot of dedication and heart. Our sincere thanks go to him as well.
Our visits to the bar were also always very pleasant. The two staff members were friendly, professional, and spoiled us with delicious drinks. Many thanks to them as well for their great service.
My son also really enjoyed the children's entertainment and was accompanied by the two caregivers with love and dedication.
Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the restaurant. There, my son and I were sometimes not treated kindly by some of the staff. The quality of the food did not always convince us either.
For this reason, we will not be visiting the hotel again for the time being, which we very much regret. Originally, we had even planned to spend New Year's Eve at the SHUUM Hotel. We are all the more sad that we have changed our plans due to these experiences.

Very great hotel -- we become regular guests

Our stay at SHUUM in Kolberg on the Polish Baltic Sea was simply fantastic! Already on arrival we were warmly welcomed and felt directly welcome. All the staff (especially Oliwia and Magdalena ❤️❤️) were always friendly, helpful and particularly attentive – even when dealing with children
We can recommend this place without restriction and would love to come back ❤️

I would have give it the full 5 stars, but:
Cons: I've ordered a surprise bottle of champagne in the room before arrival, but it seems that the reception staff doesn't communicate too well between shifts and even thought my order was confirmed by email, I didn't get it. So my intended surprise was ruined:(. I've got some verbal apologies, but that's it.
I've also received a 150PLN coupon, as a VIP/gold reward from Hotels.com, towards Spa services, but unfortunately they couldn't find me a spot, so I couldn't use it.
Pro: Spotless modern room.
Beautiful spa, pool, jacuzzi and sauna with sea view. Delicious breakfast, with a huge spread, from eggs to fresh veggies, salads, fresh fruits, pancakes, waffles, even champagne if you like a Mimosa to start your day.
I do recommend it, and we will come back, for sure.

A perfect retreat

A quaint, relaxing stay on the beach. Exactly what we needed after staying in a few major cities during our trip in Poland. Beautiful sunset on the Baltic Sea.
