Wspaniały resort z wieloma udogodnieniami.
Wspaniały resort, jedyny taki w Beskidach z takim zapleczem i udogodnieniami. Bardzo atrakcyjne ceny adekwatne do oferty. Wygodne, przestrzenne pokoje, czysto, miły personel, elegancka strefa wellness. Myślę, że nie jeden hotel może im pozazdrościć oferty udogodnień. Mnie zachwyciła strefa wellness, ale boisko, sala zabaw, plac zabaw oraz wyjątkowo smaczna a la carte to na pewno duże plusy obiektu. Polecam na wyjazdy rodzinne. Na pewno wrocimy.

Never again! To nie jest hotel tylko akademik!
our recent booking at Wrzos in Wegierska Gorka on 21.08.24 to 24.08.24 descended in to nothing more than a nightmare.
We have paid full price for two rooms expecting a resort and wellness experience, specifically seeking a venue with a gym and swimming pool. From the marketing literature and booking.com we were expecting to relax in the mountains for a tranquil respite from our busy lives.
To our disappointment, upon arrival, we learned that there were no spa treatments whatsoever and that the gym comprised of two cross trainers and an exercise bike only. It was apparent that we would have to take upon ourselves to visit a local gym at an additional cost.
Furthermore we checked into our room to discover that we had no running water, nor could we control the tv due to a missing remote. More concerning, we could not even flush the toilet or wash our hands after a long journey (thankfully this was temporary due to pool refilling).
Despite the initial dissatisfaction we dropped our bags and headed out to discover the beautiful region. Upon our return it became apparent that the entire hotel was being used as a holiday camp for children. The neighbouring rooms were effectively dorms for rowdy children. When we wanted to use the pool it was fully occupied by playing children or lessons. We endured excited children shouting, running and thudding around the corridors until the early hours, school discos from the floor below, loud unruly chanting and ball games in the car park causing local dogs to bark constantly into the night. Worst still, my son (still a child himself) was then racially abused by a group of holiday camp children. We took the matter up with their supervisors immediately. However, I do hold the hotel responsible for this to a degree as the clientele of children’s holiday camp was not inline with the wellness and spa demographic one would expect. Paying customers should not be subject to school yard behaviours, and as a host there remains responsibility to safeguard all residents. Nobody should need to tolerate this kind of behaviour.
Our final evening did not go much more smoothly than the previous two. We were disturbed close to midnight by a police incident with a drunken guest in the corridor outside of our room. The police struggled to detain the individual and required a heavier presence before effecting an arrest. This intimidating disturbance continued into the early hours on a day when our hike was due to commence at sunrise.
In short a relaxing spa and gym experience as advertised - our stay certainly was not!
To think we opted to pay double for the hotel spa experience over the alternative of an apartment leaves me feeling somewhat short changed. The general experience and racial abuse makes me feel angry and aggrieved.
While the recently refurbished ground floor was pleasant on the eye, and the staff we dealt with were excellent in their impossible situation of hosting guests in what was essentially a children’s holiday camp
