Top holiday and a nice stay

We had a super nice trip both there and back. Everything went smoothly. The holiday country was very nice! The accommodation was beautiful very fine owners. Oasis of peace also for the children. All within easy reach. It was great!! We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children age varied from 8 to 17 years

Not a hotel worth 4 stars

If you have no choice but to stay in this hotel, ask for any of the rooms 501, 502 or 503 they are renovated but only have glass door to the toilet so be prepared to see everything your partner does there and there is no balcony. We first got a room lower down but it was a horrible room, dark, old and smoke damaged, the AC did not work so the room was like a sauna. There was a chip on the floor and probably 50 ants crawled in the carpet. I just wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible. Breakfast is not worth the money but positive is that the hotel is close to the lake & Cuba Libre beach and the staff are nice.

Disappointing stay despite the good location

Although the location right by the lake is quite nice — about 1.5 km from the center — our experience at Hotel Lebed was far from satisfactory.
We arrived through a travel agency and were surprised to learn that our room did not have a lake view. When we asked about it, the response was both unpleasant and dismissive. It seemed to be an arbitrary decision made by the person in charge, who didn’t speak English and made no effort to explain or offer alternatives — even though we would have gladly paid extra for a better room.
We also had to go back to reception to request pillow covers, as the extra pillows came without any. No one answered the phone in the room, and there were no instructions on how to use it or which number to call.
The TV remote was broken (the battery cover was missing), and the batteries had to be replaced. The staff eventually changed them — but it took over an hour.
The bathroom was the most disappointing part: there were no towel racks, no hooks, and even the toilet paper had no holder. To make things worse, I found an insect I couldn’t identify.
The overall maintenance was poor, and the curtains were so thin that sunlight hit our faces starting at 6 AM — making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was modest and not particularly memorable.
Unfortunately, I would not return to this hotel, and I would not recommend it.

Reasonably comfortable stay in good location

A reasonably comfortable stay in this mid range hotel situated across the road from the lake in the city centre. Short walk to restaurants and bars and about 20 minutes walk to old Town. Room clean with large reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom clean, but small. No shower head, hand held only plus no soap holder or space to put shampoo etc. Good hot water and water pressure. Good lights and powerpoints. No fridge, room safe, tea or coffee. Small balcony. Lift and bar. Wifi good. No light blocking curtains at all in room. Breakfast was pretty average.
