Lydias Guesthouse is is a two-story, twelve-room house with six shared bathrooms located in Placencia. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. Great choice for budget accommodations in Placencia!

Wonderful place if youre on a budget. Very near the beach. Staff are lovely, place is clean.

In backpack mode; I'm not the tourist with sophisticated tastes

Of my 12 nights in Belize, I spent 3 at Lydia's. It's not complicated, I have 2 criteria to be happy = sleep well and be able to cook. To my sad surprise, it was difficult for me to find this in Belize Oh dear. Well done Lydia, you had both plus being close to a grocery store and having great access to the beach. We found the room smaller than it looked in the photo but we didn't care. When you have your eyes closed and you sleep like a baby, you quickly forget about it. It was friendly and clean.

Would stay here again if in Placencia

Lydia’s was exactly what we needed. Really good Wi-Fi. A room with separate beds. Warm shower. A veranda to sit and chill. Close to everything in Placencia. Rooms were clean, and towels and soap were provided. Lydia was really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Safe and clean

I stayed in Lydia’s Guesthouse for 2.5 months. I always felt safe. The site is clean. I met a lot of people from all over the world. The porch is a great spot to relax… right next to the sidewalk. The beach is steps away! Lydia has cabins on site, but are reserved for the winter months by long time renters.
Ms. Lydia closely watches over her property and guests.

An excellent stay

I was in Belize fly fishing for 10 days and was recommended Lydia's place by my guide. I was entirely pleased with my time there. Lydia is an absolute sweetheart and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable and doing well. The hammock on my porch was a mainstay for me when I was off the water, and everything in Placencia Village is within walking distance, including a Covid testing site if you need a negative test to get home. I will stay here again in the future! Highly recommended
