Great Experience During Our First Visit to Belgium

We booked a 3 night stay at this beautiful property during our first trip to Belgium/Antwerp while visiting family at the beginning of a 18 day trip through Europe. We are loyal Marriott customers and were graciously welcomed with a room upgrade because of our loyalty. After a long 20 hr travel day., this was a very welcome surprise. We absolutely loved this property. Our guest room was very spacious, clean and stocked with all of the necessary amenities and then some. The staff from the front desk, bartenders and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff gave great recommendations on things to do nearby. The hotel location is great, close to great shopping and restaurants and the historic district while at the same time situated on a quiet street. We enjoyed the courtyard area as well as the bar and the other common areas of the hotel. The only thing that did not wow us was the breakfast which we just included during one day of our stay, it was pretty pricey for average food, I would suggest that there are better options outside, close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay at this property again if our travels take us back to Antwerp.

Great stay

Started shaky in terms of room type but ended up being a great stay. Location is awesome, staff if super nice, service spot on, and rooms wondeful. Gym could use a facelift but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

This is easily the worst hotel room I have lived in. The room was not cleaned properly, there was trash from the last guest left in the room in both the room trash can and toilet trash can. Managed to find 2 different types of bugs in the room. The free bottle of water smelled bad and had dust on the lid. The mattress wasn't even flat/broken where me and my partner slept.
The room itself looked nice and the staff were really helpful. The only saving grace was the self service laundry across the road.

Stay here!

This hotel is perfect. Great location, beautiful rooms & property, historical significance and lovely staff. I felt very welcome by entire staff. Plus, it was easy to walk to all the sites in Antwerp.
