Exceptional stay! The staff made us feel like family, the room was quiet, and the comfortable bed ensured a truly restful night.

Hotel near to the airport with their own shuttle
There is an airport shuttle that is taken outside the airport on the 1st floor where the other regular buses are taken. The room was cleaned and comfortable for three people (they have a pull up couch for the third person). There is a mini refrigerator and a safety deposit box. Toilet has a different room from the sink and shower. It is quiet despite of being near to the airport. The only con we found was the Asian receptionist desk person (June 18 at 4pm)who was not kind to us during check in. She questioned if our room was for two when the reservation was clear to be for three. Later I asked about having more water bottles (this Novotel hotel only offers one bottle per room complementary) and she dismissed me telling I can buy it from the shop. Interesting enough she was kind to people that spoke French to her. In the morning on June 19 at 7am there was a kind guy who even asked us how was our stay.

If it's only to stay for an early flight out...
Surprisingly noise-proof rooms for an airport hotel. I seriously didn't hear any air traffic. The hotel staff was friendly but the restaurant experience was weird. Instead of the menu, the restaurant was only serving a buffet. The price was pretty high so we opted for the bar food, which was not-very-good pizza out of a box. The hotel/airport shuttle was really good... on schedule, and easy to deal with.

Incredible! My room was not clean, I call reception and get an answer: sorry at the moment we do not have house keeping. I could do it with this.
Rest in the hotel also substandard. Accor can do better, that's why I'm a member. But you'd better avoid this hotel.

Good Location For Airport But Dated Rooms
I stayed here for one night during a recent solo visit to Brussels as the location suited my plans.
I'll start with the good points - The reception and bar staff were all very friendly, the location is very good if you're making use of the airport or train station attached to it like I was and the hotel has a nice sort of garden/patio/raised seating area to the rear that was pleasant to sit in for a drink (Coke zero bottle 4 EUR.) The shower in the room had good pressure, the aircon was good and the complimentary bottle of water in the room fridge was much appreciated!
Bad points - The rooms are VERY dated with old tvs, old phone, some weird dirty speaker thing (see pics), outdated bathroom with flaking paint everywhere and generally run down. There were lots of other marks and stains around the room (Room 205.)
The pillows on the bed were that horrible type where (although thick) your head sinks to the bottom, it took me ages to get to sleep.
If you're not bothered about an outdated room and have no problem falling asleep on any type of bed/pillow type then this will be fine but I expected a LOT more from a Novotel, shame!
