What a pleasant surprise!

Super nice stay of 3 nights had during the heatwave! The room was extremely neat and practical and nicely laid out, very spacious, and soothing. It looked more like 4 stars than 3!
Here we come back! Location super, and almost nothing heard of noise outside because it is in the entertainment district.
If we may note some things, it is that there was 1 air conditioning mudflat that made hellish noise (slept on the rooftop) but that turned out not to be air conditioning of the hotel but the neighboring sushi restaurant Oishi, the owner would have been called upon to replace the old noisy air conditioning but there is no appropriate response to date. Very unfortunate for the hotel owners because their air conditioning units were really very low noise.
A blackout curtain on the glass side door and terrace door would also be a big added value.
We had hung one ourselves with a pole (because we were near our home we could do that, we were there in hotel as an emergency to escape the 40 degrees in our home!)
A small Nespresso in the room would top it off!
Big congratulations to the whole hotel team!

If you get the breakfast, buy it the night before — the price goes up 6 euros the next day, which no one told us.

Lovely hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent too- great service of great food by excellent staff

The 'luxury' room wasn't a luxury room at all

Room 41 was assigned to us as the luxury room we had reserved for a sisters-2-day Hasselt. This room was cold (the air conditioning only works when you are present, so you always come 'home' to a cold room) and very basic, no color, no decoration, a small bathroom and very small separate toilet, a sober table with 2 regular chairs, 1 chair and 1 desk. The room and bathroom were clean but in the toilet was a bad smell. When we walked around in the hallway we squeaked into rooms that were just cleaned, which were much nicer than our room. When we politely inquired whether we had been given a luxury room, the receptionist was clearly annoyed.
And another thing ... the reception kept our suitcases (and those of other guests) in storage the first morning until the room would be available, our suitcases were visible behind the reception, which was more not or manned throughout our stay, so 'everyone' could take them with them.
When we rang the bell to report that we would be packing our bags behind the reception desk, no one showed up.
Fortunately, the bed was good and the breakfast buffet nice and fresh.

We had room 23, not slept until 3am. It looked like we were sitting in the cafe downstairs, such a noise nuisance..
Room was also not very clean. Door of room and toilet clamped enormously and the bed is not made for people who are slightly less mobile. It's so low to the ground you have to roll out.
Breakfast was ok.
