urban stay in tranquility
Great Stay! Sabine and Thierry welcome you to their guesthouse, decorated with care. The room is very clean and comfortable. The garden is my favorite part.

We were housed in a summerhouse. It is a wooden structure with electricity, but without running water, smoke detector, fire extinguisher or fire sign. In addition, the door to the main building is always locked, so you can no longer leave the garden.
After 10 p.m., the door from the garage to the main building is also locked. As a result, it is no longer possible to use the regular toilet and you are obliged to use the dry toilet in the bedroom. That toilet is not separated from the sleeping area and causes a very strong smell once windows and doors are closed.
In addition, there is hardly any privacy. The owners walk through the garden past the summerhouse at any time of the day, allowing them to hear and see everything. To keep the smell of the dry toilet tolerable, you are even forced to leave windows and doors open, which increases the lack of privacy.
The shower is located in the main building. Although the window is taped, there are openings in the cover so that one can easily see inside. As two young women, this made us feel particularly unsafe. After a bike ride of 77 km we wanted to be able to take a quiet shower, but at some point the male owner came to the window. It also happened that we entered the main building to go to the toilet and found him completely naked there, in the hallway in front of the bathroom.
We were not informed at any time beforehand that this kind of situation was possible. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe during our stay.
After this review, he also called us rudely and threatened to sue us.

Heavy fence!
HEAVY FRADER. The 'host' we found very unpleasant. They rent out their house for the wrong reasons.
We were put in a room on the busy and dirty street because the chalet in the garden was double booked, while we had booked it for 2 nights. No excuses. The shower sometimes became freezing, we suspect by the owner, because in his opinion there was too long shower (within 10 min). We addressed this and immediately received no frowns in response that he has never heard of this and most people only shower for 5 minutes. Very nasty experience.
