Amazing
We stayed at this B&B for two nights in August and were absolutely delighted.
It's in a gorgeous setting in rolling countryside about ten minutes away from Ypres, which was easy to park in when visiting and very close to many other WWI sights. There are also several restaurants and cafés in nearby towns for dinner that were lovely.
The B&B house is stunning and the room was luxury as would be expected in a 5 star hotel - we stayed in the larger of the two rooms and were so impressed with the decor and facilities.
Breakfast was out of this world - the variation and amount of food served is suitable for every taste and will not leave you wanting. Complimentary beer and drinks are also provided in a fridge in the communal dining/kitchen area.
The owners were most accommodating, and we had the most friendly enjoyable stay - would absolutely recommend - fantastic value and service for money. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely but...
First of all, this place is absolutely lovely and I can't fault the room at all. When we arrived however I was very confused on where we were meant to go as there is no obvious reception area, after wandering around confused we were finally welcomed and when we were shown to our room we were rushed in told some few bits of information and then the owner/manager ran off again. From reading other reviews I expected a lovely warm welcome and a goodbye, upon leaving we couldn't find the owner to say thank you and bye. I don't know if it was because we were a young couple that we were ignored or that's just how it is. Breakfast was ready for 9am, I was expecting a knock at the door to let us know it was ready and to see if we needed anything but we walked out to everything already laid out and (surprise!) no one in sight. The breakfast was very nice though, I just wish there was some hot food rather than fruit and pastry to keep me going.
Overall this place is in a beautiful setting so I just hope it doesn't lose its magic.

Exceptional B & B, breakfast like a king
Wow, how lucky we were to come across this gem of a place. We visited Belgium this summer to watch the Tour de France and also to visit some of the WW1 sites around Ypres.
Traffic leaving the tour was legendary but the owners were kind enough to call us to make sure that all was ok as we were running late.
It is very difficult to describe just how good this place is. There were 4 of us so we booked both rooms. The contemporary style of the accommodation was done in an amazing way, our bedroom had the bath in the middle of the room and as long as you can put aside your English reserve and ignore the open plan toilet and bathroom, you will be able to fully appreciate the comfort and peaceful setting.
Now we come onto the breakfast, absolutely incredible. We asked for our breakfast to arrive at 9 am which it duly did, on the dot. The proprietor brought in a superb selection of just about everything you could think of that you might want for breakfast...........she was then followed by 2 more young ladies, each with another huge tray! I can honestly say that this was the most epic selection I had ever had for breakfast. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared and whilst we did our best, the four of us struggled to do it full justice. We definitely did not need lunch!
I sincerely hope that the proprietors read their tripadvisor reviews, we had a great time even though we stayed only for 1 night and hope to visit again soon.

Heerlijk slapen en ontbijten
Hier na ons huwelijk overnacht samen met de getuige die speciaal uit Amerika overkwam. Wat hebben we goed geslapen en een heerlijk ontbijt mogen veroveren! Alles is netjes en tot in de puntjes verzorgd!

Buitengewoon uitmuntend!
Wat een topper! Zeer rustig gelegen, super mooie kamer en badkamer, luxe ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en gastvrij personeel. Kortom, meer dan een aanrader! Er is een feestzaal aan verbonden ( le pays plat) maar door de goede isolatie heb je daar helemaal geen hinder van .
